Solve the Jumble for Jabba!
After giving away a couple of our popular Jabba the Hutt 1/6th scale figures to lucky CIV attendees who were experts at Star Wars trivia, we extended the opportunity to non-attendees as well. This time we found a jumble of letters, which asked fans to solve for a chance to win a Jabba! Some of you figures out that these letters – HTNREDSNUNORAEE – unjumbled to form the phrase NORTHER DUNE SEA, the location of Jabba’s Palace on Tatooine. Those of you who entered the correct answer before the cut-off time were entered into a random for the chance to win! Two (2) fortuitous winners have been drawn. Congratulations to: M. Apple from Independence, MO and C. Altepetur from Lafayette, IN! These winners will be contacted by email to claim their prizes, and will be responsible for shipping fees and any applicable sales and/or import/VAT tax. Thanks for playing!
More Trivia for T-Shirts – Round 2 winners!
As a way to continue to extend the fun of Celebration IV to our online audience, we played a second round of ‘Trivia for T-Shirts’ during the event. This time we wanted to know: How many Rebel starfighters did an Imperial officer claim were attacking the Death Star? A lot of the Star Wars fans out there knew that the answer is ’30′ (or ‘thirty’)! We have randomly chosen five (5) winners who submitted the correct answer to our Contest Form before the cut-off time to take home a Sideshow Darth Vader ‘Lack of Sideshow Collectibles’ t-shirt. These winners are: A. Thompson from Harahan, LA – B. Turnbow from Las Cruces, NM – C. Longchamp from Essex Junction, VT – D. Hinkle from Bellevue, NE – and J. Wigney from Canterbury, Great Britain! These winners will be contacted by email for confirmation, so watch your inbox if you see your name on the list!
Trivia for T-Shirts – Round 1 winners!
Our MC at the Sideshow booth (aka Webmaster Chris) entertained the CIV crowd with ‘Trivia for T-Shirts’ every day of the con! We extended the fun to our online audience with this question: What type of stew did Yoda prepare for Luke in his hut on Dagobah? Those hardcore Star Wars fans out there knew that the answer is ‘rootleaf stew’! We have randomly chosen five (5) winners who submitted the correct answer to our Contest Form before the cut-off time to take home a Sideshow Darth Vader ‘Lack of Sideshow Collectibles’ t-shirt. These winners are: C. Walton from Macon, GA – S. Hansen from Beavercreek, OH – A. Pettie from Arcadia, CA – D. Ellis from Ashland, OH – and L. Forgione from New York, NY! These winners will be contacted by email for confirmation, so watch your inbox if you see your name on the list!
