Founder of San Diego Comic-Con dies at 76

Sideshow was saddened to hear about the passing of Comic-Con founder, Sheldon Dorf. Greg Anzalone, CEO of Sideshow Collectibles, says of Sheldon, “Sheldon Dorf was an inspired visionary. His concept of a convention to celebrate the comic arts, support artists of all stripes, and raise the profile of an often misunderstood medium, was the potent seed that has grown into an amazingly rewarding annual gathering.
