I have enjoyed collecting the Indiana Jones Premium Formats all have been excellent. I am wondering what SS has in mind for Last Crusade in the Premium Format realm? An Indy no doubt, but will we see Henry Jones Senior??? Connery being as large an icon of cinema as Ford, I would love to be able to display these two Premium Formats together some time in the future!

You’ve indicated recently that you’ll be focusing on Temple of Doom-themed Indy items in the near future. Does that mean there’s a strong chance of getting a 1/6th scale Temple of Doom Indy in his torn shirt outfit? And in addition to that, how likely is it for you to ever produce a Short Round figure, given his smaller scale which would require a whole new body sculpt? Temple of Doom Indy can’t go anywhere without his trusty sidekick!

Okay, you may want to sit down for this… We have indeed started development work on a Short Round figure in 1:6 scale. We’ll be taking it slow, developing Indy, SR, and other TOD characters for release a little further down the road – but we have commitments…

Whatever happened to the life-size that was mentioned in the original INDIANA JONES license announcement? Is that completely dead in the water now, or is it something we may yet see? If so, any ETA?

The life-size bust for Indiana Jones has yet to see a development commitment, but is discussed on occasion. The design team has yet to find great confidence in producing the ‘right’ life-size product for a heroic, human likeness. Villains, aliens, and others are okay looking a little ‘creepy’ – or a LOT ‘creepy.’ Eventually, we’ll sort it out and tackle Indy and other heroic fully-human film icons.

Well, we have a rad Mine Cart environment in the works, and full intent of some Temple of Doom figures a little down the road.

Since Hot Toys said they were making figures from classic movies this year, and their relationship with Sideshow is strong, I wonder if Hot Toys figures of Indiana Jones are possible?

I’m really interested in obtaining a nice replica Ark of the Covenant (like you included/produced for your Arnold Toht figure), but I’m only interested in the Ark itself. I had attempted to purchase the replica Ark bank that was to be produced by Diamond Select, but they cancelled the production on me. Then I even purchased (off of eBay) one of the replica Arks you produced for your Arnold Toht figure only to have it arrive broken in transit. Is there any way it would be at all possible to purchase JUST the Ark accessory from you? Or could you please consider producing a nice replica Ark for sale in the future?

I love 1/6th scale dioramas. One I would love to see would be a crystal aliens chamber from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Any chance Sideshow will make a 1/6th scale full-body Crystal Alien on Throne piece? That would be mind blowing. You’ve already got the head done from the Indy DVD release…

I am a big fan of your Indiana Jones 12-inch line. I know you decided to take a little pause before presenting the next figure. But please, please, please answer me this question: Will you make these characters in 1/6th scale in the next years? … Mola Ram (perhaps with Godess Khali Statue as an Exclusive), Col. Vogel, Sallah, Marion, Oberst Dietrich, and Marcus Brody? I am a fanatic fan of your 12-inch lines. Please continue in that high quality!

While we have been on pause with the 12-inch figures, we have committed to development of a mine-cart environment meant to pair with 1:6 scale products. That should help you to see where we’re likely to develop next, although we hope that the remainder of Indy 12-inch isn’t all Doom and gloom.

With the news of the Fertility Idol Prop Replica, any chance fans will see a Light-Up 1:1 Scale Crystal Skull Prop Replica from you guys? It is my favorite thing from all of the Indy films! Please DO NOT make it fixed to a base though. Thanks so much Sideshow!

Understood – you want to role-play with your Crystal Skull, not just display it! We are interested in the Crystal Skull, and we’re working with Lucasfilm to see what we might be able to do. We can’t promise a light-up feature, although it is possible.

I LOVE the Premium Format Crystal Skull Indy. Trevor did another amazing job on the face sculpt. I might even prefer it over my PF Raiders Indy, but time will tell. Is Trevor working on any sculpts for the other two Indy movies in the PF format? It’d be great to add to these “bookends”.
