After seeing the release of the Alien egg prop replica from AVP, would there be a chance of you guys making Maquettes of the Predators from the movie as well right?

I have ordered all 3 Predator Maquettes from the Predators movie that you guys have already done. but it does not feel complete without a Classic Predator Maquette. Any chance in doing one?

Hey SS, like many of my fellow collectors I am broke and I’m making my 5 and 6 yr old get a job to help me pay for all the stuff you are coming out with. Keep up the good work. Of course like other Predator fans I am getting the masks to keep the collection up to date. I would love to see a set-up like your Darth Vader Life-Size Bust that reveals his face. What do ya think?

Nope, we’re venturing deeper into the Predator mythos before returning to the originals, but we DO plan to return to the originals.

The first Pred in the LSB line looks fantastic so far, but I have to wander, did you guys ever discuss adding a Bio as the Ex on this? I think most people agree, it would have been a home run, but instead you guys took the typical nameplate route. I think people would have plucked down a little more to get a swappable head or at least have a Bio to display next to it (as a nameplate does). Thoughts?

Yes, we do have some continuing conversations about how to best offer the Bio for the Legendary Scale Bust line. We considered making the Bio a swap out, but it would so very compromise the face of the predator – there’s some engineering that just wouldn’t work without closing the mandibles and dumbing down a lot of the facial spike detailing and other bits, and it felt like the priority needed to be on the Predator’s butt-ugly likeness. For folks that are die-hard Bio fans, we do have a plan, and we’ll reveal all in due time. It’s NOT a swappable head, though, and we think you’ll understand why after seeing this piece in person.

Can I pleeeease get any details on the Mr. Black Maquette you had in your Predators production peek video that was posted last year? Has it been scrapped like rumors suggest, or is it still on its way? ANY DETAILS!!=]

Brian Steele is a wonderful, amazing, talented actor, a HUGE guy, and perhaps most surprisingly for a guy that plays Predators and hell-beasts so very well, he’s really really nice. Brian took the time to sign at the Sideshow booth at SDCC last year, and we would always welcome Brian back to sign again!

I was just wondering if you had plans to make any Alien or Predator statues in a smaller scale than the 1/4 maquettes, but larger than the dioramas. Reason being is that the maquettes are too expensive for some of us earthly mortals, and the smaller scale of the dioramas seem to lack too much detail due to their size. Thanks for your time, and keep up the fantastic work. Even if I can’t get everything that I want, I still love seeing pics of all the spectacular art that you people create!

Fact! We are indeed working on Alien AND Predator statues in approximately 1:6 scale, larger than the dioramas and smaller than the 1:4 maquettes. The first of the Aliens has already been announced from Alien Resurrection, sculpted by the magnificently talented Jordu Schell. Thanks for all the kind feedback!

Any chance you can get a communique over to Hot Toys since I know that you people are real chummy… is there any chance of them ever re-releasing Predator 2 as an already assembled figure, like they’re doing nowadays? Maybe with an all new body and such? I missed the train for that one, and it’s the only Predator left that I want. Thanks in advance!

I heard that the Falconer bio mask from “Predators” will not have a light-up targeting laser. Is this true?

Nope, all LIES. All of the announced Predator masks do indeed include light-up targeting laser features.

When will we see the 1979 Giger Alien maquette? How big/in what scale can we expect it to be? – AND – When talking about size of the HR Giger ALIEN maquette in production, should we expect the statue to be around 13 inches, or over 20 inches?
