I love your Mummy Premium Format figure, but was wondering if there are any plans to produce another one, perhaps with a slightly more ‘active’ pose, ie Imhotep in his classic ‘arms outstretched’ stalking stance? I think that would fit in brilliantly with the rest of this wonderful line!

Maybe someday, but there’s nothing in the current plans. It would be a brilliant way to continue the line, and we’d love to go back to our Monster roots.

Just wondering if you guys plan on making a Jason Voorhees 1:6 scale from part 5 and 8? They are the only 2 movies you haven’t made figures for and it’s been ages since you last released a Jason toy.

For the moment, we are only working in 1:4 scale for the modern horror characters. We re-evaluate our planning and product line lists frequently, and we will inquire with our development teams about the prospect of returning to Horror in 1:6.

Has there been any talk about more Friday the 13th 12-inch figures?

Yup, you’ll see a steady parade of horror from Sideshow, especially in PF.

I’ve been collecting Sideshow’s Marvel comiquettes but was thinking of getting into my other love, Horror. Last year in November someone asked about a Hellraiser line. How soon are we to see this? I couldn’t resist a Sideshow Hellraiser statue!

Halloween, the original film, is a difficult film to license, as there is some mystery surrounding the film’s true ownership. We would LOVE to do one – maybe someday!

Not to the best of our knowledge, but we aren’t privy to all of the discussion at Medicom HQ.

I was reading that Sideshow is interested in doing more Trick ‘R’ Treat items the film had more support. Why doesn’t Sideshow do a poll or something along those lines to see if there is support for a full Trick ‘R’ Treat line? Sideshow could do such an amazing job.

We appreciate the information that can come from polling, but in some cases, the market reaction really speaks much louder than poll results. Trick ‘R’ Treat’s Sam Vinyl Figure was a success, despite the film’s difficulty in finding release – and we’re content with that figure speaking as a representation of the film.

Possibly related to the Monsters/Horror line; why has Sideshow not produced an awesome looking Werewolf like the one in Van Helsing or the Garage Kit from TRCIC Studios, who produced an awesome kit entitled Moonsinger?

No real reason why. There hasn’t been a hugely popular werewolf film in a while, although we might think of Underworld as the exception.

I see that you are looking at starting up with the Universal Monsters again and was wondering if you would do something from the new Wolfman movie? I would suggest a statue of the Wolfman on the gargoyle or the Wolfman taking on his father.

Someday, but not in 2010. We’ve got some pretty nifty ideas about the line’s eventual return, however…
