Kendra is unlikely to make an appearance in the current Buffy line.

When are we getting to ANGEL Sideshow?

If you mean Buffy’s Angel, the answer is soon. We’re finalizing sculpture on the product, and expect to make a full reveal by mid to late 2011. If you mean Marvel’s Angel, the answer is VERY soon. We’ve completed our prototype and it’s a winner. We’ll be revealing him sometime in the next couple of months.

With what seems to be renewed interest in the Buffy license, is there a possibility we’ll ever see statues based on the Season 8 comic series?

For the moment, we’re only planning TV Show based products.

The Buffy line is currently maquettes. If it continues to do well and Angel characters get worked on, would it continue as maquettes, or maybe get Premium Format treatment again?

It’s possible. We’d love to revisit some of the older lines someday.

I know she only appeared in eight episodes of Angel, which may make her somewhat obscure compared to other characters, but is there any chance of Illyria showing up in ANY format? I would absolutely love to see her get the Premium Format treatment! I’m sure she’s a fan favourite, and I know I’d definitely buy one!

We love Illyria too – she’s hot, she’s striking, and she’s a damn cool character. Fred was great, but Illyria – even better. We’re currently interested in developing more actively within the Buffy license for the statues. If that line continues to do well, we’re likely to expand into Angel, and Illyria would be high on our list of candidates for a statue or maquette.

Any chance of seeing some new Angel figures at some point?

The new Buffy statue line is off to a good start, and we’ll be revealing the next characters in that series around the time of SDCC. There are plenty of characters from Buffy to populate the line for now, but we hope that the series will be successful enough that we can expand into characters from the Angel series too.
