  1. Sunscout says:

Are there any plans to do another creature pack to add to the current jabba thrown roon enviornment? Something like a Jawa with a fan to fan Jabba and a Dungeon Rat?

  2. John says:

a super accurate and detailed Emperor Palpatine with his throne would be so awesome I can even begin to imagine how incredible that would be.

  3. Darth Icarus says:

I will be clearing off A shelf ,the day I even hear they are making an Emperors throne!Wow visual overload!
“What is thy bidding my master?”

  4. Astro666 says:

I hope that when SS makes an Episode VI Emperor fig that they offer a Throne accessory set like they did the Creature pack and the probe droids. Also, I would love to see SS make a Hoth Imperial Probe Droid figure.

  5. orbitingx says:

    Sorry i mean the width….

  6. orbitingx says:

I just wanted to know the correct throne diameter.

    Great looking piece!!

  7. Darth Icarus says:

Too open or not to open has always been A struggle,But if you leave it boxed ,you’reonly holding onto it for someone else.I have to open my SS & display them!I will paint A Mustafar background & have OBI & DV duel it out!
Watch the fan film “Figure fight club” & it will help you see this better.
    ROCK on SS

  8. astro666 says:

When I was a kid back in the 70′s & 80′s I opened all of my star wars toys & played with them. Now that they are worth alot of $ I have no regrets in having opened & enjoyed them. So now I open & display all the SS figs & enjoy them as well. If I sell them, the people buying will have to understand that they were opened & enjoyed, and they can get them cheaper than a MIB version.

  9. Batman says:

    Verbo:
ROFLOL. I’m NEVER gonna grow up; Im a SideShow Toys Kid.
    Michael:
I donno. I collect first, then sell second. I’m not wealthy enough to actually afford some of these things– so, selling off my old stuff has been very helpful. Plus, I dont have the luxary of the other most valuable commodity of collecting: Room!
I enjoy collecting toys. But, honestly, I enjoy collecting those green pieces of paper, too. My favorites? I’d have a hard time selling. Stuff that Ive lost interest in– such as anything from the Marvel Legends line that is remotely close to looking like Iron Man, i’d sell in a heartbeat, and did. :-D
I’d like to be able to open these and have an exclusive set as well. But, oh well; I’ll get what i can, and go from there.

  10. LordAzrael says:

I would have liked to have had the flex pay option cover the whole jabba set – jabba, environs & the creature kit. But other than that love the concept.

  11. Michael says:

To those who collect two of each for selling later. You know there is no way you would ever sell your boxed collectable in the future. That is part of being a collector, it’s a pack rat mentality. We just can’t let those things go. But having two is great, but for me I would never sell any of my stuff, especially if I knew it was worth some money. Then I would be the one with the highly collectable cause I am a collect. LOL!

  12. Jamie C. says:

Would it be possible to make a 1/6th scale Premium Format Slave Leia to go with the Jabba, Jabba’s Throne enviroment, etc.? That would solve the problem of unsightly articulation lines on the figure.

  13. shawn says:

    DarthVerbo,
I don’t blame you for buying both. If I had enough money for both versions, I would do it the same way for the same reasons! Good luck with the rest of the 12″ line!

  14. C David says:

I just can’t wait to get this next to the Kotobukiya Slave Leia model. Unless Sideshow plans on giving us an appropriate Leia…

  15. DarthVerbo says:

    Dave,
I just do it with the 12 inch line. I have always been a MIB collector in that line but Sideshow’s 12 inch figures HAVE to be opened. I’m a sick man! I need to still have one MIB so I keep the EX version boxed. The packaging is very cool as well.
You are right. It is a lot of extra money. I like having both versions.
Not to mention when I grow up, the EX version boxed will sell better.

  16. Zabrak Nut says:

I’m hoping his balljointed arms are going to have a REALLY good amount of range; seeing as they’ll probably be the only POA, (less they decided to do waist movement or some weird wire armature thing inside him somewhere) I want to get as much out of them as possible. That way MY Jabba will look better than all yurs:P Or, they could add those weird doll’s eyes; you know the creepy ones that close when you turn the doll upside down or whatever (something completely useless like that). We need to recreate all of his action poses from the movie!! Sleeping Jabba; angry Jabba; calm Jabba; Laughing Jabba; Choking Jabba, etc.

  17. S.Martin says:

No questions here just cant wait to get such a piece Iv waited along time for a 12” jabba thx

  18. SideshowDusty says:

buj – we’re hoping to have something for the next podcast, but if not that one, then the next. Some info might be posted in the Prod Blog as well. You can ask as many questions as you want, but I think you may only be able to submit once per email address – but your submission can contain multiple questions.

  19. buj says:

When will this interview take place and do I only get to ask one question?

  20. Dave says:

Verbo, why the heck do you need both exclusive AND regular editions?!?!? They are the same except for the extra accessory. That’s a ton of cash to blow getting both but hey, its your money.

  21. star wars fan says:

thank you sideshow from a true fan

  22. Greenday69 says:

Wow, I dont have any question for this excellent set, I pre-order the whole palace, is amazing set, keep it going sideshow!!!!! it just perfect. cant wait to have mine in my room.

  23. DarthVerbo says:

You need to offer two throne environments per houshold. I get two of everything (exclusive and regular versions), and I want two of Jabba’s throne. I have every other quarter scale figures EX and REG. I need another environment to display with my regular version Jabba and Salacious Crumb.
Oh, and can’t wait to hear more about this set. It looks amazing! Can’t wait! THANKS SIDESHOW!
