  1. Jennifer Rogal says:

THE PIC LOOKS LIKE SHE WILL BE A NICE ADDITION TO THE EVIL FIGURES LINE !! MAYBE SHE AND ANAKIN (DARTH VADER) WILL MOVE INTO ONE ANOTHERS BOX AND BECOME ROOMIES! HA

  2. Zabrak Nut says:

There she be!! The more Sith and “Sith-in-training” we get, the better. My Jedi are all getting REALLY tired of beating the crap out of Anakin… They need SOMEONE or SOMETHING else to duel with… OMG, when are we gonna here about the armor for future figs.? Vader, Trooper-doopers, Fett and Fett Jr.!

  3. John says:

THIS WAS AN AWESOME CHOICE!!!!! I’ve always loved her ever since I saw her in the cartoon. She was the highlight of the whole clone wars series for me. Wish she had been in episode 3 but who knows if George tinkers with the films again he might digitally put her in. One figure that would be amazing is an emperor palpitine from Return of the Jedi with a throne environment. maybe with interchangable faces showing his serene and then pissed off looks. I know you guys can do it!!!

  4. newhope says:

    More original trilogy figures please..
    Tatooine Luke, Obi-wan, Vader?

  5. cocoboloboy says:

I’m not as well versed in the EU part of Star Wars as some fans are so this figure doesn’t do it for me yet. I really need to watch the Clone Wars cartoon I guess.
I’m sure the figure will be done well but I was sure hoping to see another major film character. Variety is the spice of life though, right?

  6. paysismom says:

double sabers! keep up the good work Sideshow!

  7. Batman says:

I wouldn’t exactly call this expanded universe; although, perhaps technically, it might be. The Cartoon Network’s Clone Wars animated series were tied directly to the movies, were the events between ep. 2 and 3,and were overseen by Lucas, esp. season 2.

  8. Love Paste says:

I hope they do the Asian look for this figure with the tatoo’s on her head. I have a thing for tatooed asian chicks ;) .

  9. Sachiel says:

It looks like she has the holsters. I hope she has her cloak. It’s hard to tell, but her dress is looking pretty plain.

  10. Stevejw says:

So we pass into the Expanded Universe….heres hopeing we get such note worthy EU characters like Kyle Katarn and Corran Horn. As for the further expansion of the series i really hope to see a 1:6th scale Darth Vader (full costume) sometime, would be the pride of my collection.

As for Asajj..she never really grew on me, but it’ll be nice to see her “un-cartooniefied” :)

Keep up the fantastic work S.S :D

    SJ

  11. pan1776 says:

are we getting tattoos on this beauty? one for each dead rattatakian warlord??? a black hooded robe? and how about some holsters for those sabers? come on Sideshow. i know you have it in you.

  12. Puay says:

Finally I can have a break… this is the first Star Wars figure that I can make a pass. I bet Asajj will look great, but I am sticking to the movie characters. I do wonder how will the EU line be received.

  13. astro666 says:

I hope the use Grace Jones as a template for sculpting this figure. When I first saw her in the animated show that was who she reminded me of. Now SS, you just need to make a Sora Bulq figure. Keep up the great work.

  14. Rudy J. Vucelich says:

Wicked cool! I can’t wait to own her (please, oh please make this one inclusive – I really would hate to miss out!)
Strange though, that she looks very nearly done in that picture when we still haven’t seen much of anything of the Arctic Padme figure – not that I think anyone really, honestly wants that figure.

  15. Scott says:

Please release this figure in the exclusive format!
    Thanks

  16. Anonymous says:

Please do an exclusive of this for the members! Thanks

  17. dman12 says:

Now you made my week. just make a quinlan vos and you will have made my year. i cant wait to order this bad girl to fight my anakin.

  18. Ensabahnur says:

EXCELLENT!!!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SS.
Get those hands to stay tight as the joints and this could be one of the very best yet!!!

  19. J Wade says:

My heart leaped for joy when I saw this pic. To me this figure is dead on. I can’t wait to see how much detail will be placed in her costume. If you can nail the appearence of her eyes it’s a done deal. For those of you who refer to her as a Sith, consider this. She was just as tradgic an individual as Anakin was. She was a wanna-be. Both their emotions and circumstances were used to manipulate them. The only difference was that she was smart enough to leave. Anakin however was not that bright, and for that he paid a terrible price. Palpatine (the architect) would be a perfect choice for your next figure. You could even give him Windu’s hand frozen in carbonite for a trophy.

  20. Eric says:

very cool figure! I generaly like the animated version of her better, but this looks nice. And to the guy who has a Ventress problem and can’t find a cure…try more cowbell

  21. Swordfish says:

A big pass on this one. I just don’t find anything visually appealing about this character.

  22. Erika says:

    1) Asajj looks great.

But WHY are we seeing a runner up to the fan choice contest instead of the winner CLONE WARS PADME???

    GRRRRR!

  23. Zakk says:

    That looks awesome.

  24. Dosei Ventress says:

    HOLY CRAP I NEED HER.

I…I have a huge Asajj problem, and there’s no cure for it. I WILL pre-order this one immediately. Heck, I might get two…

  25. Skullspllitter says:

WOW! What a great character choice,I’ll have to use lot’s of dark side power to grab one of these figures for my collection since my wallet’s almost useless, thanks to all the other SS products I’ve been buying lately. Another stellar job SS! Thanks
P.S. How about Mara Jade getting the SS treatment?

  26. William says:

Frickin Rights!!! (Or as you Yanks say it: Frickin A!!!!)
Maaaaan I can’t wait to have this figure!!!
SSC keep hittin me where it hurts soooo good!!!!

  27. anthony says:

Looks Good!! i really like this character, wish she had been in one of the movies, so what movie star did they have in mind for this charater or did you just use the cartoon as your main spring board? love it!!! oh i have a wish list item to like everyone else… and its got to be ki adi mundi, cause hes bad arse.

  28. The ill Jedi says:

I’m not the biggest Ms. Ventress fan, but i’ll be damned if that isn’t a sweet looking pic! I shall have that crazy Lightsaber(s) wielding lady, if it’s the last thing I do!! Muahahahahahaha!!!!

  29. Marc says:

She looks pretty good – tho’ I would have liked to see Sideshow follow the African or Asian route of interpreting her likeness. But on the hole, good job Sideshow!

  30. Joe says:

I too am excited for this one! But that kind of looks like Padme’s bald head in there.

  31. Fredo says:

Not bad at all. She looks more like the comics version than the cartoon version. Now remember SS, both lightsabers snap together to make a double bladed monster. I imagine her outfit will the hardest to match. Here clothing is quite detailed and awesome. I hope you can nail it SS.

May the force be with you on this one.

p.s. If this one is exact as it should be, this is actually going to be for my wife. After seeing Assajj in my graphic novels, she said that this would be the only Star Wars doll that she would actually want to get. And she is not into collecting!!!

  32. Darth Icarus says:

Looks great! i will get one if the price is right.

  33. Dave says:

Great looking figure! Hope you guys don’t make a real small window of opportunity to buy on a Friday morning again–for the exclusive. Like every one of the rest, I was not at home and missed out (and for those that like to reply with comments, I won’t be able to use a computer at work, either.) Hope I don’t miss out yet AGAIN.

  34. Anonymous says:

holy mary mother of god, this looks amazing. god i love those badguys. gives me a warm feeling in my insides hehe

  35. Puay says:

It seems to me that this figure is made after the Asajj that appeared in the Clone Wars cartoon instead of any comic books version.

  36. Batman says:

    Assaj, I can do that.
    my requests for this figure:
    1. Please make sure the limbs are tight.
I have about 3 with some loose arms.
    2. She should be fairly simple to design.
There probably wont be a lot of extreme detail. As such, please bring the price back down. I’m finding it very ironic that the more expensive DC Direct 13″ figures are actually costing me less than the cheaper by $20-50 higher priced DCD figures.
    3. I agree with what HE said, about the extra thought put into the (hopefully inclusive, not exclusive) SS-only version.

  37. VermilionOne says:

BEEEEEEEEYYYYOUUUUUTTTIIIFUUUULLLLLL!!!!!!! Proportions look good, much better than I expected. Outfit looks great! picture looks AWESOME. THANK YOU SIDESHOW!

    I’m buying 2!

  38. astro666 says:

I cant wait to see the full pics on this fig. For some reason I just had a feeling they were going to be making this figure soon.

  39. Richie Rich says:

Great character choice. Head looks mighty egg-like and bulbous in the pick though.

    Screw Vos! Gimme Thrawn anyday!!

  40. JediTray says:

Excellent choice, we need more Sith! If she is going to be exclusive rather than inclusive, I really hope you folks at Sideshow put some effort and thought into the exclusive accessory. I also hope that the trend in price increases for your product stops. Don’t think we haven’t noticed. Star Wars fans get nickel and dimed to death!

  41. Steve says:

Yawn. This isn’t what I was expecting, especially after the Endor troopers. Where’s Darth Vader? Boba Fett? Come on guys, we need to hit the major characters before diving so deep into expanded universe.

  42. DV says:

Cool but can already tell the head is too large for the body.

  43. Sachiel says:

    Looking good!

  44. David says:

WOW!!!I like when u do expanded universe character!!! Excellent choice. I want QUINLAN VOS TOO!!

  45. jpsith26 says:

YESSSS Awesome choice for Expanded Universe!! I can’t wait for the pre-order announcement. Now please make Quinlan Vos next!!!!

  46. gary says:

S.S. you just made my day you guy’s rock
i can’t wait to get my grubby little hands on this doubble bladed bad ass chick. Ok she just going to stand on my shelf and i’ll look at her where i’m i going whith this? I don’t know but i just whould like to say good choice thanks!!!

  47. Falleensith says:

Sideshow keep them coming this is SOOOOO much cooler than any republic commando, now how about creating lightsabers that really ignite!

  48. Randy says:

finally another villain, let’s keep the variety going before any characters are done in different outfits, love all the Jabba’s palace figures, a good place to continue….

  49. He says:

What a pity that the lightsabers don’t illuminate… Serious now, Asajj looks great. Can’t wait to order my favorite dark jedi! I hope you give the exclusive item some serious thought.
