Hope the IG-88 comes with his ammo bandolier, blaster pistol and rifle, and perhaps the blade extension piece seen on the smaller 3 3/4″ scale figure. Load this assassin up with some cool accessories
You guys need to show off all that extra articulation you’ve been talking about! As it stands, I can turn the head on the IG-88 I’ve already got.
Maybe if they would have made more like this earlier instead of so many troopers and rehash human figures I would still be collecting 1/6 Star Wars, of course the current prices don’t help either.

You got to be kidding me. IG-88 is the umpteenth bounty hunter (I guess Boba Fett, 4LOM, Zuckuss, Aurra Sing, Dengar, Bossk, and Zam Wessel don’t count) and it is not a Jabba’s palace crony. Why don’t you go and buy all of the excess shelf toys that haven’t got bought up yet? Search Froogle, Amazon for 12 inch bounty hunter to see the huge list out there. I think I checked Ebay and these were NOT in demand. You are the reason Kenner/Hasbro stopped producing 12 inch figures and you want the same for Sideshow? I have been a loyal customer of Sideshow when Weta was part of it producing Lord of the Rings. They produce excellent work and I hope they continue to do so. I sincerely hope that they produce the women of Jabba’s palace. My collection needs Oola.
Hope to see it in close to 14″ of glory! Can’t wait to see the metallic weathering. I’ve still got my Hasbro one up as a filler til the SS 88 comes around.
Greedo was also a bounty hunter, albeit not a very good one. So, not even including the disguised Leia IG-88 would be the second.

At last! My favorite character is coming to light
I hope he’s in the same scale as Darth Vader or perhaps taller as far as height is concerned. Our first true bounty hunter and a very welcomed addition. Sideshow, you out-did yourselves and this year has been exceptional for the Star Wars line. Can’t wait to see what else is planned besides the Clone Wars 3-pack posted earlier. Keep it going Sideshow. I’m lovin every release thus far!

Spookie, You might be putting Leia as Boushh in the bounty hunter category but that was only a disguise. IG-88 will be our first real bounty hunter.

Not to sound too corny, but I’m so gratefull to Sideshow for showing so much lovin to the Star Wars line! This “big kid” is on cloud nine with excitement about what is coming down the production pipeline from the fine folks at Sideshow! Between all my SW and “Indy” collectibles, My home will soon look like an homage to George Lucas.
Good to see that not only are we going to get our first droid but also our first bounty hunter. Thank you sideshow!
