Sideshow Collectibles

In honor of the pre-order for our A New Hope Princess Leia 12-inch figure, Sideshow Collectibles challenged its collectors to see who could achieve the most creative simulation of Princess Leia’s classic ‘cinnamon bun’ hairstyle, as seen in Star Wars: A New Hope. That’s right, we were looking for the most creative hairstyling, weird objects, or parody of our little princess! One (1) Grand Prize winner will also be selected to win one of our Princess Leia Premium Format figure! Stay tuned to our Newsletter on April 26th to find out the names of the winners.

Collectors were asked to submit portrait shots of themselves - or their animals/kids! - wearing their creations. Pictures could be front shots, profiles, or 3/4 angles - whatever will showed off their creations best, as long as they made sure to include a sign in the photo that stated: “Check out my buns on Sideshow Collectibles.com!”. Only one submission per person, per email address please! If you submit more than one photo, only the first will be eligible. All submissions become the property of Sideshow Collectibles to use at our discretion, online or in print without monetary compensation or notice to the creator. Six winners (one Grand Prize and five Runners-Up) will be chosen from all eligible entries and announced in our Newsletter on April 26th, 2007. Entries must be received by 11:59 PM (PT) on Sunday, April 22nd, 2007.
