Don’t forget that the Priority Pre-Order for the Attendee edition of our sixth and final 2007 Comic-Con Exclusive, the 1/6th scale Holographic Darth Sidious with Mechno-chair, begins Thursday, June 14th at 10AM (PT). The Non-Attendee PPO event will follow on Friday, June 15th at 10AM (PT). For those of you who can’t wait to see the full figure, we’re posting the product gallery a bit early. As you can see, this figure stands about 9 to 10 inches tall atop his articulated mechno-chair, and includes a really cool, light-up LED feature! This Comic-Con exclusive will be sold on a first come, first served basis so make sure you are qualified for Priority Pre-Order before Wednesday, June 13th at 11:59 PM (PT)!

I can’t sit on this fact any longer. A few days i caught a snippet of TPM on TV and it was the scene in which this version of the Holographic Sidious appears. When Maul, Nute and Rune come to a stop Maul is clearly LOOKING UP at Sidious. My point – this piece is 2 or 3 inches too short. I know it’s nit-picking, but it is something that does need to be addressed. Otherwise, a fantastic piece SSC.
Hey Dave… is your last name Skywalker? You wouldn’t happen to be talking about the seam in the hood and the robe’s actual closure that appears on the actual costume in the film would you?
As for this item, I personally think it’s fantastic. Some people just want SSC to make what they want, and NOW!, vs. a little something for everyone and waiting patiently for the items they would like to see. I wasn’t crazy about the KISS statues or the LOTR dioramas, but I’m not flaming up those boards. I simply thought “pass” and skipped on. Anywho, keep up the diversity Sideshow, it’s awesome!

Great idea. I agree Sideshow’s definatly thinking outside the box with this one. Maybe I need glasses but I don’t see a seem that shouldn’t be there anyway. Didn’t ol’Palpie have a seem down his robe in the movies? Nice job SS keep up the great work.

I still don’t get everyone whining about what choices Sideshow makes when it comes to releasing products. Wouldn’t it make sense that they make a wide variety of things instead of just items that will be popular? This is a perfect example of how Sideshow thinks outside the box. Keep it up ‘show!

Um, yeah, er. Someone was bored and thought of this? With all the things in the entire Star Wars universe, you chose something as tacky as the Fragile (hey that’s Italian) lamp from “A Christmas Story”.
At least they finally got the point and did a trooper for the PF line. Now if only to do a Clone Commander series.

You’ve made a lot of cool things Sideshow… this isn’t one of them.
You’ve got better artists than this! Look at the visible seam down the front. Translucent blue does not = holographic. Impress me by showing me something that looks like the effect we saw in the films – you know this isn’t it and you can do better. Get back to working on armor now.
wow 50-70 dollars for something 1/3 (4/5 inches when not on chair) the size of a 12 in. This almost tops the 800 scout statue

Nice…. for under $20. Any more and I’ll join the legions and wait 2 years for it to clearance out. Sideshow, spend your “light up feature” money on Darth Vader’s chest armor and belt lights, and get him made!!!!!
