After seeing Hasbro’s attempt at the Indy doll I’m so thankful you guys are coming through for my collection! I don’t see Indiana as a selection on the newsletter? Sign me up! I don’t want to miss pre-ordering this gem!
I wonder how Cate Capshaw & Karen Allen would look in 1:6 scale? Mola Ram would also be pert’ darn cool too! Excited to see where Sideshow goes with this line. I’m betting the Exclusive version of this figure will include the golden head from ROTLA. Would be interesting to see if Sideshow offers an Indy in Professor Jones garb in limited production.
Can’t we have a version where you pay extra for a proper leather jacket? I mean, us meat eaters should have no problem with that?!
Hmm, sadly I’m not convinced.
After seeing the unpainted preview I was really excited about this, but he looks like, well like a toy!
Maybe its just that awful jacket, but at first I thought this was a joke and they’d put up the hasbro version.
On the plus side, nice to see gloved hands and a raiders style grubby hat.
Jacket aside (not quite “there” yet) the figure is looking good! Can’t wait to see the final version!
I wasn’t that impressed when I first saw this, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. I still hope this isn’t the final jacket, and he should look a little dirtier, but I’ll reserve final judgement for the actual figure. This is definitely a pre-order for me.
And I’m really hoping we get a 1/6 scale Ark of the Covenant! And some Nazi soldiers for Indy to slap around.
I can’t wait to pre-order this figure for my Husband who is in Iraq as we speak.
Sideshow i wrote you a letter years ago about this day! i hope someone still has it!now lets talk Playset. Map Room or Map room Indy! you guys finally came thru The first indy looks great..Love the gloves!
I think Indy looks pretty good. I’m not blown away by the figure, but I’m keeping in mind it’s a prototype and we’re still a ways away from seeing the production run results. And no it’s not as insanely detailed or weathered as some offerings from here in Asia, but then again it’s going to cost less than half of what those usually do!
The color of the clothes looks good for Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Please Sideshow, make a sturdier strap for the bag.

BTW, what’s with the East L.A. facial hair? He kinda looks the Tagger of the Lost Ark.
I, for one, actually hope you DON’T use real leather for the jacket. I mean, c’mon people, what’s it say about us when we start dressing dolls in genuine cow hide? Please.
Holy Cow!! That looks awesome. I was a little more than apprehensive when I first heard about Sideshow doing Harrison Ford as Indy. I wasn’t thrilled with the Bespin Han Solo, but I’ve got to say you guys have got this one dialed in. Way to go Sideshow. Keep up the great work.

Sideshow said they’d make a figure for every movie so i’m guessing this is the one for Raiders. I can’t wait to see the one from Crystal Skull

I am pretty impressed. The only things I have issues with is the face needs to be a little thinner with some slight detail changes, the jacket needs somescuffing up, and overall the costume needs to look a little more “worn in.” But this is a nice looking figure SideShow and I look forward to more progress!

Really average head sculpt and really cheap pleather jacket. C’mon guys, where living in the HOT TOYS age. You gotta do better than that. Its a no from me.

Perfect Raiders figure! The gloves are perfect, the hat is pinched correctly, the belts look great. Everything looks great. Is there a whip holder? Are the pleats in the shirt? I can’t fricken’ wait.

I love the sculpt! If the actual production Indy looks as good, I may have to pre-order one of these as well, and I’m a 1/4 scale collector! I have just one suggestion, Sideshow. If you do decide to create a Premium Format Indy, I would like to see a “distressed” leather jacket. It’s my childhood all over again!
