I think Sideshow Keith is a bit “pretentious”.
I Have to agree with Robb B this is the first podcast in ages that hasn’t made me cringe, I really hope we have seen the last of childish acting that has been in the last few podcasts, and do what you do best great interviews and product information.
Woh! Why is it the posts are applied to the top now rather then the bottom? I did get it to work and am looking forward to the Indy figures I order.
I agree with Rob. I’d like more content and less “entertainment.” The Hal bit is annoying and you guys aren’t actors -radio or otherwise. But don’t despair, you real talents are fully appreciated by this collector. Just check the records on my purchases. The best thing you guys are doing in the PR department is the Backstage Pass though the presenter could be less pretentious. Great view of the product and features.
Wwo, another great information filled podcast for the Sideshow crew this week. I really enjoyed the Indiana Jones segment and the interview with our fellow Freak Jeff Batencourt was very entertaining. It is always great to get to hear from the minds behind the movies we love so much, and Jeff certainly has some great projects in the works. Thanks for sharing the fun and for always giving us a taste of what makes the Sideshow engine run. Hopefully Sideshow can help Jeff’s dream of a Pan’s Labyrinth license to come true, I know I’d be ready to jump on some Sideshow greatness from that license. Hmmm…still no bloopers from the podcast, still missing the dear Mistress, and NEVER enough of the sultry voiced Dusty, and even with that it is the best podcast on the web. Now, about this Doomsday………….
I’d like to listen to this but unsure what is used to play a m4a extention from the download…
You know what guys? No offense intended, but I LOVED this straightforward podcast SO much more than the ones with all the “characters” and “comedy” bits. To put it as kindly as I can, those podcasts that leaned too heavily on “entertainment” were … well … far less enjoyable. To me, at least. (Perhaps I’m just a stick in the mud, but I was rarely amused.) So I’m REALLY hoping this particular podcast is a sign of things to come. More information, more artist interviews and more one-on-ones with industry folks. Awesome stuff! That’s the stuff I want to tune in for! Keep it simple and keep it informative, that’s my vote.
wow, this was a really early post this week, thank you sc, i could actually listen to it while the sun was still up here! great cast!
