The Sideshow Exclusive edition of this figure will only be available direct from SideshowCollectibles.com and features an interchangeable head sculpt, showing off a handsome and hatless Indy! The Exclusive edition will be sold during the Priority Pre-Order event on a first come, first served basis so make sure you are qualified for Priority Pre-Order before Thursday, April 17th at 11:59 PM (PT). A regular edition, without the exclusive accessory, will be available for Pre-Order immediately after the Exclusive edition sells through. The best Indy ever, very good piece with a good price. Even Harrison Ford should have one!
I too had slow and bad lock-ups trying to order the exclusive. I submitted and it stated my order was placed only to give me that #@% error message. I was only able to get on the wait list. Now the no hat version. Fine. If this is the exclusive, how ’bout Indi head as DR.Jones(head with glasses)Is it too late? I think this option would be a GREAT save for the disapointing just no hat option. Over-all…great work SS. Now…how ’bout a Batman in the same scale from the 89′ era time frame? That would be too cool!! Rock-on Sideshow!!!!
Come on guys. I got the exclusive but who cares. Just be lucky sideshow did a premium format figure of Indy. It is difficult to capture Harrison Fords likeness but sideshow did a stupendous job on the figure. Bravo to sideshow!!!!
Wow, that was an experience! This is the first PF figure I ever ordered and I can’t wait to display it. Your team did an awesome job on this figure. Also, I was amazed at the price, I was expecting to spend closer to $400 and was very much relived to see I wouldn’t be getting a divorce yesterday! I’m thinking that to be able to display the extra head maybe Indy could be holding it instead of the idol. Alas Dr. Jones, I knew him well.
Hi, everybody. I too had the website lock up on me shortly after 10:00 a.m. PST, but I called in the order and got an exclusive.
I showed the photographs of the figure to my wife last night and she said let’s get one! She and I were both disappointed by the useless exclusive.
I say we all e-mail and telephone Sideshow Collectibles Customer Service to give us another option for the exclusive. What do we have to lose? This will really tell us if Sideshow Collectibles listens to its customers.

Beautiful statue!!!! I am disappointed about having to wait online to pre order the exclusive, only to watch the website lock up. Then calling in and having to wait a long time to place the order and finding out it was sold out. I think it is very unfair to those customers who waited and were unable to place the order . I went by the recommendation by sideshow to place the order on line. However it did not happen.
Well I did it!!! I scored one of the exclusives. At first the website locked up a couple of times on me because everybody and his brother, sister, aunt and third cousin once removed were trying to snag one so it was a battle royale. Then when I saw the price was 279.00 I was estatic. I was ready for a higher price and by rights you could have charged alot more for this. ALOT of work was put into this figure, a freggin team as a matter of fact!! Sideshow, you guys keeping the price reasonable on this, shows you do care alot about your customers and I appreciate that very much. I will not forget it. And I appreciate the flex pay option too. I couldnt have gotten one if it werent for that. I sincerely appreciate everything that you guys did today. thank you and I truly mean that……..joey OBrien
I don’t know why people are angry about the exclusive.. I thought the 2 different heads are outstanding..This is a great collectible and the detail is amazing. I really thought the price for this item would be over 300.00 too. Great job but I have to tell you the website almost gave me a heart attack.. But i am happy to have the exclusive…
Sideshow please, give us an exclusive accessory not a hatless Indy! How about a poll to choose the EX accessory? Extra hand with a gun, medallion or the Grail even if it’s not from the same movie but please not a hatless Indy.

I’m with you resin. Like, this is the exact same fig as the original 12 in. Just MUCH better. I would’ve liked this as the other one and then maybe a different movie or something as the premium

Talk about attention to detail….the hatless Indy head’s eyes are “squintier”, as if not having the hat on is letting more light into his eyes. 20 mins to go….
As fantastic as this PF Indy is, Sideshow NEED to set up a poll about the exclusive let down. DO WE WANT A DIFFERENT EXCLUSIVE PIECE? What could Sideshow make instead/ or extra? ANYONE WITH ME ON THIS?

Great Likeness, but not great exclusive item… the head w/o hat doesn’t look quite right to me for some reason, and I agree that there could have been some cooler choices… alternate gun or whip uncoiled hands, bag of sand, dead body on spikes, or a replica small ark…
A Hatless Indy? Something in relation to another relic of the movie would have been a better idea for an exclusive version.
I have to jump on the bandwagon and say that the extra head sculpt as an exclusive is not a great choice. 99.9% of the people will be displaying it with the hat. The extra hand holding a gun was a good idea. Something, anything except a head that will never be seen. But I absolutely love the look of this PF.
I would love to see a PF figure of Dr.Henry Jones as well.

WOW! Indy definitely Rocks! This piece looks incredible and personally I like the “hatless” exclusive(he looks so seductive!) but I can understand the disapointment from diehard fans wanting a different accesory of some kind.
As an example I like changing the accesories on my Lurtz PF to fit my mood!
The best action hero, from the best movie, and… on my birthday! Thanks SS. This will be my first PF purchase.

I agree with everyone, the exclusive is very disappointing, u cannot display indy without his hat unless he is in his professor outfit. also why make an exclusive when that accessory is just going to sit in the box?? Please sideshow consider changing the exclusive, how about something that looks like the cinemaquette indy?? obviously not all of us can afford that great staue by cinemaquette but maybe sideshow can include an alternate hand with bullcracking whip in action!!???? come on guys must be better exclusives then this!! Everyone is so excited about the BEST harrison ford piece and BEST sideshow piece EVER, and its being spoilt with a lame exclusive!! I dont mind missing out on the exclusive, someone else can have it.
A second head is a surprising and generous offering as an exclusive, at least to those of us who realize how few companies offer any extras, ever. I’m sure there will be others, like me, who will switch up their display from time to time, and who will like getting a different look at the superb sculpt. Thanks, Sideshow team. I can’t wait to order.
GREAT sculpture! LAME exclusive accessory! A hatless Indy? What next? Superman without his cape? C’mon guys! How about an arm throwing his whip, or holding a staff of rah headpiece, etc. Does he have his glasses? Oh, I’m still gonna buy it but I’ll probably let the exclusive version go to someone else.

Absolutely the Best Ford likeness I’ve ever seen and possibly the best PF yet. Wonderful job guys! Now about that EX piece. Hatless alternate head!?! What in the world is up with that!?! Of all the cool things you could have done for the EX this is not even close to one of them. I’m extremely excited about the PF but equally disppointed in the EX.
Sideshow – your sculptor on this Indy figure has done an amazing job and I will most definitely be glued to my computer Friday morning hoping for the privilege to purchase one of these, however, I’m scratching my head like some of the other collectors over why the alternate head sculpt was chosen instead of some other “prop” like, maybe the Staff Of Rah – as another collector suggested or, even an alternate hand holding the medallion that goes on the end of the staff or a machette, etc… Will there be a podcast soon that will talk about the decisions that were made for this figure?
What a fantastic PF figure. Very well done! My only concern with the change-o-head is the seam. Is it going to be visible? Then again, I’d never display it without the hat so I’ll probably stick with the regular edition.
@5: it’s easy to nitpick on this figure without telling Sideshow what exactly is not correct …

There are heaps of better options for the exclusive to make it something you would WANT TO DISPLAY rather than leave in the box wrapped up forever!
Great figure, fantastic likeness but come on you guys!! what’s with the exclusive?? I was hoping for an alternate hand holding his gun ,the medalion, a torch or the whip in a different pose would have been cool. The exclusive could have been better, but anyway I still love you Sideshow and the figure ROCKS!!!:-)
This figure is soooooo cool. Sideshow you have outdone yourself this time. Guess I will be getting up @ 4.45am on Saturday (NZ time) to make sure I snag one. I don’t want to miss out on this figure!!!!!.

By far the best PF yet!! Just amazing. But also the most disappointing choice for an Exclusive accessory I could think of. Who the heck wants to display RAIDERS Indy in his adventure gear without his hat??? Come on, Sideshow… you guys have seen the movie! Even a gun-holding hand or the medallion would have been better and more fitting.
The prototype is without question, the best Indiana Jones figure of any kind, EVER! I’ve been collecting Indy stuff since 1981 and no other item of it’s kind has even come close to this figure. BUT…there are still some things on the costume itself that need some fine-tuning. I sincerely hope Sideshow will take these minor issues very seriously. Just take a look at any Raiders reference photos or the film itself and study them hard. You should pick up on the inconsistancies quite easily. That said, Sideshow has already accomplished much. To run the race and not run the whole mile would be an insult to Sideshows stunning reputation. I feel you will do the fans right. Keep em’ coming, Sideshow. Let’s see Marion, Belloq, Sallah, Toht and Deitrich. Maybe even a Short Round and Indy Sr. for those who like those other two Indy films. Give us what we have desired for oh, so long. Lucasfilm has ignored giving Indy to the fans properly for too long. Our time has finally come and Sideshow is taking the lead. Thank God!

ok, so while i think this is the best sideshow piece ever with an amazing likness to harrison ford…..i am pretty disappointed with the exclusive, an alternate head? its the same as the normal head just with no hat…. Its not like the buffy exclusives who had totally different vampire heads, or the anakin exc with sith eyes, at least they stand out, this is just meh… at least give him his Dr Jones glasses or something. I think the Ark of the covenant or an alternate hand with his revolver would have made better exclusives… but ill still get it anyway…

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!…and I’ve never said that about a man before but, in the case of Sideshow’s wonderful rendering of Mr. Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, I’ll make an exception! This is the best sculpt – in my opinion – of any of your 1:4 scale Premium Format Figures! Can’t wait to snag mine. COME ON FRIDAY!

The pose is classic indy. The slight hunch over, as if his body shows the wear and tear from all his previous adventures. Head sculpts are nice. I’m glad I cancelled my 12 inch Indy figure as I really want this Premium Format statue instead. Is that a real leather jacket?
