Ok this may be preference, but I would much rather see a polystone statue of Snake Eyes than a figure, on the figures the cloth always looks strange (because of the smaller scale). I hope Sideshow will do a Polystone statue of Snake Eyes (Maybe a diorama with Storm Shadow?) I think Sideshow would do a wicked job on a polystone, and I would purchase it, as a figure I won’t
When do we get to see it finally. I hate waiting then once we pre-order it will probably take till th quarter to ship..

I just saw the 2nd pic and the video teaser…It does look like a version 2 with a bit of tweaking! Now I know what an awesome ninja snake eyes really must be. He would have to be a master of stealth to move with all that Velcro and webbing and not knock everything down and be heard from a mile away! Yet this looks like the 12″ SnakeEyes I have always dreamed of. Looks like I’ll be putting out some big cash or else my previous 30+ versions will be pissed! Heck, the little 3 3/4 dudes will probably worship this version! (It makes some of the Hasbro 12″ers look retarded).
I’m assuming you will also be making a Zartan and his Dreadnoks right? Here’s hoping for a cool Zarana figure next, LOL!!!
Looks cool from what we can see so far. You make me hate you more and more all the time SS, just when I think I couldn’t possibly spend any more money on SS products, you go and announce a new line or series. When I read that you were going to be doing GI Joe stuff, I thought “Oh, that should be nice for the fanboys who still love GI Joe, but I don’t have to worry about giving SS more of my hard earned money, since I am not into GI Joe anymore”. Then when I saw the 2nd pic of Snake-Eyes it took me back to when I was a kid and used to play with all my original 3 3/4″ figures, and I thought to myself “Wow, I gotta get myself one of those!”. One question though. Will you be making a 1/6th 2-pack of Tomax and Xamot? LOL

Amazing! This looks great and really is making it harder to wait for other figures. The truer to the 80’s cartoon the better and Snake Eyes looks better than I imagined. AWESOME JOB!
I can’t wait for Cobra Commander. They should have two head variants. One with cloth and the other with the helmet. Gotta catch them all. Lol.
impressive but you should get underworld figures like vampyre markus and william with rubber suits and figures from Blade {vampire hunter} get all the characters of both vampire movies and use muscle bodies please.
Give them some yellow and red guns, spring loaded launchers and a talking backpack that’s 3x larger than the figure and I’m in.

If this is a 12″ version of the v7 Snake Eyes, he should come with Timber. Also, I am throwing my lot in with those that hope the exclusive is an alternate goggled portrait.

That looks a lot like the Snake Eyes from wave 7 of the Valor vs. Venom toy line. I guess I will be ordering this one.

I have now seen both teaser pictures of the Snake Eyes figure…I CAN’T WAIT!!! BTW, what IS wrong with the movie version? I understand the hesitance for some of the other characters, but Snake Eyes looks appropriately sleek and stealthy–a walking shadow–just as he should. I’m confused by the irritated reactions…? Oh, and while I look forward to seeing the second in the series, I would LOVE to recommend Scarlett.

Man I’m torn. Sideshow does awesome figures, but GI JOE is Hasbro to me. I’m cool if they aren’t going to be uber expensive like a lot of their figures are getting. Also as long as SD SHW doesn’t do any Adventure Team I’m all for it.
So, SC has said that they are going to be true to our childhood memories, not the movie. I think a Timber/Clothing expansion pack would be cool. The exclusive to this figure could be the visor head sculpt, so that all versions come with the goggles head sculpt. Plus he has to have an Uzi, two swords, a knife, his bag and a back pack. Oh, and bet on him going for $80, plus shipping minimum.
I love sideshow. The looks of this is that’s it’s from the movie. Look at the top of his head the mask has a seam, plus the camo pants. I would have loved the v2 ninja of snake eyes. The lame movie where he has a nose and mouth. Crap. Let’s hope we’re wrong and give ss the benefit of the doubt. If it is the lameo movie version forget it. That movie is going to suck balls.
Been waiting for a quality 1/6 scale Snake Eyes for years! I hope this is closer to the Silent Interlude version! Although I do see a sword.
Wishful thinking wants a removable mask revealing the mysterious gnarled face. Maybe later they’ll come out with different uniforms like the winter parka and later version uniforms. Reality check says it’s a $90 movie franchise paper-weight plastic abomination!
Seeing clearly that that’s snake eyes I think the next figure release is obvious. It should be Storm Shadow.

Ugh, I hope it’s not based on the movie version of Snake Eyes. If it is then Sideshow just lost a definite pre-order from me.
What’s up with that base? Does that come with the figure? I hope so. It’d be great to have a little “terrain” instead of the usual, boring old figure stand with logo!

The 12″ action figure comes full circle, Sideshow is making GiJOE figures! The first one HAD to be Snake-eyes. Great stuff! Hopefully, he will come with a TON of extra weapons. Guns, throwing stars, nun-chucks . . .
I just hope that it is not $90.
