This pre-production Star Wars figure of princess Leia as “slave” personifies the meaning of Premium and is in my eye, the best rendition of Leia to date.

LOL,, umm Con? Ya maybe somehow you missed it, but Sideshow just finished hosting their massive SPOOKTACULAR 2008 event. One of the unveilings of that event was this Figure, and during Spooktacular, these things are supposed to just pop up out of nowhere! SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK, (aka, YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE)

I LOVE it! Always welcome a slave leia! Looks awesome! BUT, i didnt see any announcements or articles for this peice, it just popped up out of nowhere, so i didnt have a chance to order the exclusive. Either way, cant wait for it!
Now any chance we can get a Jedi, Hoth, Bespin or Xwing-Snowspeeder Luke in Premium format with light up saber??? Emperor(From Jedi.) or a Mace Windu with light up saber would be great also!! OH, and a ENDOR Han Solo wouldnt go down to badly either, with a re-sculpted head similar to the Indiana Jones PF.
While there’s no doubt you guys got the likeness and costume just right, I wouldn’t mind seeing a little more definition on the body itself. I don’t mean like a ‘cut and buff’ Leia, but the same flesh color w/ no shading over the whole bod makes it look kinda homogenous. You guys can do better.
So when the went up for preorder I bought it without any hesitation at all. A few seconds after I came to the realization I still have a crush on Princess Leia :X Keep up the good work!
It’s a great figure, but I can’t help but be a LITTLE disappointed that the costume breaks the unspoken ‘Premium Format’ rule, inasmuch as costumes are composed of separate pieces, just for authenticity’s sake.
