This highly detailed figure is completely equipped with modified armor and gear specialized to withstand harsh desert climates and extreme temperatures. The Sideshow Exclusive edition of this figure will only be available to Pre-Order direct from SideshowCollectibles.com. The Exclusive edition features an extra accessory: an extra hand holding a droid part from the Tatooine crash site! Super to see growing fleet of Imperial troopers as I will order 2 when released. However I hope sideshow would kindly add extra’s like interchangeable various coloured pauldrons and other blasters like E-11 and especially T-21 to build up a squad. Maybe be good to create accessory pack??
Thanks for the awesome Sandtrooper Sideshow. Since you’re in the armour mode how about a Biker Scout to give the Endor Rebel Soldiers something to chase around in the forest!

Looks good. Glad to see there was thought put into the differences between the sandtrooper and stormtrooper designs here. I still don’t recognize that weapon too well, I think only 1 guy carries it and that’s in Mos Eisley, but I could be wrong. Kinda suggests the orange pauldron version will be coming though.
Those poses you guys have him in are way more extreme than the real mccoy.
I must admit, I thought they were being silly by offering yet another trooper in such a short space of time (I have no problem them recouping the armor investment, but so many within such a short period worried me hasbro-style). But now, I see the dirty armor and modifications, and that is enough to tempt me - although $110 is a massive amount of money, considering Jabba didn’t cost much more. Anybody figured out what the new faceplate means?
This is a very nice figure, better looking then the stormtrooper, it has alot of character.
AWESOME FIGURE! Not sure if I can afford him, but I will pre order and then see what the situation is when he is released. I hope to get more than just armored figures in 2009. BRING ON THE 1:6 Scale Slave Leia and Chewbacca!

Pretty darn cool (and fun exclusive), but on second thought I think I will save my precious pennies for the orange pauldron version that may very well come out.

Nice. But at the price the Sideshow figures are going these days, the Hot Toys figures are starting to look like a bargain

Figure the exlcusive would be something more then a drioid part. wish it was like an extra pauldron or prod for a dewback.

It looks like a beautiful piece of art. Can’t wait to pick this one up. I hope we’ll see other sandtroopers with variations of the shoulder pauldron colors and different desert gear/weapons seen in the film.
