nazgul Premium format- nazgul Premium format- nazgul Premium format. have to keep trying.
Yeah, this figure is sweet. It looks like Sideshow decided to create an amalgamation of the first two Storm Shadow figures in the Real American Hero line (I can’t remember if there were more than two figures). The original figure was in the traditional sleeveless ninja gi, and seems to be the inspiration behind the equipment that comes with this Sideshow version. The original figure came with a katana and tanto, nunchuku, and bow and quiver. As Mike P. mentioned, the quiver opened up, allowing storage of the nunchuku and bow. The second figure came in a long sleeved gi with digital or snow camo, a katana, and a compound bow. So this figure looks to be a combination of the two. While I can understand that the compound bow is being used to modernize things, I wish that Sideshow would have stuck with the traditional bow. It was noted several times in the comics that Snake Eyes trained with Storm Shadow’s family, the Arishakage clan, and although Snake Eyes was superior with a blade, Storm Shadow’s skill with a bow was unparallelled.

Geez, I can’t believe how much “useless” G.I. information I’ve retained over the years.
I understand the comments of some regarding the clothes being baggy and the bow being modern as opposed to tight fit clothes and traditional bow like in the original cartoon. But Sideshow mentioned previously that what they wanted to do with this line is to pay homage to the origial but at the same time updating them to make them more realistic and believable by using real-life reference on the clothes and equipment. I also agree with kevin that Timber should have been included with Snake Eyes and an extra helmeted head for Cobra Commander. Maybe Sideshow can release an accessories pack loaded with extra heads, animal companions, extra sets of hands, weapons etc. to along with these 12″ Joes. That would be awesome and will solve a lot of these collectors needs.
After SE and SS, I’ll be completely satisfied with a Scarlett and Classic Ripcord release!
Awesome. Awesome. That is all that needs to be said. Sideshow does a great job with their figures. Storm Shadow will lokk great next to Snake Eyes. I would love to see Firefly, Tomax Xamot, Destro, Hiss tank driver alright all of them….
l wish they made this attire less baggy
MAAAANNNN! @_@
I wanted this figure, but was
going to pass until I saw his unmasked head! Now, I really
want one!
Great job, yet again, Sideshow!
He looks GREAT. The price is kinda steap…. We got a nice Cobra line up, bring on a couple more JOE’s. Roadblock, Flint, Shipwreck, Scarlett or Lady J, Gung Ho…some obvious choices
SOLD…..FIREFLY OR BEACH HEAD NEXT PLEASE SIDESHOW
I like the unmasked head. While he never uncovered his face in the cartoon, Storm Shadow’s face was often shown in the comic books.
Storm Shadow looks great. Though, in the comic series he uses a more “traditional bow” not a modern compound bow. Just an observation, not nit-picking. As for other G.I. Joe Characters I would like to see made: The Baroness; Scarlet; Destro; Roadblock; Zartan; Crimson Guard trooper; & maybe a Dreadnoks 3 Pack!
As for exclusive accessories: Snake-Eyes should have had Timber included with him. And a Scarred Face/head should have just been included. Cobra Commander should have had his Helmet Head as an exclusive. The Hood look is cool, but I really like his Helmet!
Yo JOe!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice to see these photos prior to PPO. It really reinforced my decision in preordering him. Obly question I have is can the bow and nunchucks be stored in his backpack just like in the original toy? Would be nice if you can although i dont see it pictured. Overall this is a very nice figure. Thanks Sideshow!
I’m in
why does an unmasked Stormshadow look like Steven Segal?
Pretty cool though.
Esta la raja!!!!!!!!!!!
WHy a PPO!!! I hope it won’t sell out too quick! I will be pissed!
Liking the exposed head. I didn’t realize he ever revealed himself though. Thought he was very Cobra Commander in that way. Cool anyway.
GUARANTEE SELL OUT FOR SURE!!!
Bring on Destro, Tomax and Xzmot, Beachhead, Roadblock, Zartan, Flint, Dusty, Flamethrower, Serpentor, Dr. Mindbender, Firefly, Crimson Guard, B.A.T
Sorry, maybe I should read the entire thing before posting. I jumped staright to the pics!
Sweeeeeeeeeeettttttttttt!!! I’m there.
So the nunchuku is the exclusive?
OK AWESOME…..But why didnt you included another unmasked disfigured head for snake-eyes too?It would have made more sense that for Storm Shadow…
BRING ON ZARTAN NOW !!!!
