Here’s a collector question from a recent ‘Ask Sideshow’ submission:: In regards to Sideshow’s upcoming Thanos comiquette, I would like to say it is a dream come true! And I would like to pose several questions: Who is the artist the sculpture’s art will based from? What is the estimated weight? PLEASE LET THERE BE A LIGHT UP FEATURE..if there is any company in the collectibles market that could pull it off it is YOU GUYS! Suggestion: Light up feature for both the Gauntlet gems AND the eyes. Please make it happen, PLEASE!!!
The concept art for this sculpture was inspired by several sources but will not be tied to a particular artist. Pablo Viggiano is handling the sculpture work on this project, and it is looking GOOD. We’ll share more with you as things progress, but for now, here’s a sneak peek of the sculpture from the very early stages!

Outstanding piece! Is it going to be PF or Comiquette? I am looking forward to an exclusive light up Infinity Gems. Hope I will be able to order the exclusive one when it is up. Can’t wait to see the final product!
Thanos is also featured in the first few marvel superheroes games if you do not read the comics. Thanos will really be great. Wonder where the series went to. Will be good with an onslaught too. A proportionate one!
Please give us the light up gems for Thanos and put him up for pre-ordering ASAP. I wanna buy it!!

This is awesome news! EX Light up Infinity Gauntlet will be sweet! Definitely lots of Sideshow fans have been waiting for the Light up IG Thanos for years!
I can’t wait for this myself. Even my son likes Thanos as a villian. I’m sure the gauntlet will be a light-up feature which is a no brainer. If there is an exclusive perhaps an Annhilation Wave costume for Thanos would be in order.

Yeah… Wow… My, hands down, favorite Marvel villain. Good thing I’ve been saving up recently.
So…if my imagination is correct…we have a Cyclops and a Thanos comiquette on the horizon; and possibly a Daredevil and Sabertooth! Sideshow, if this is case, you guys rock: four of my most wanted characters.
I kinda wish Thanos had his hand turned around, so that he was admiring the Infinity Gems.
