    OK… it looks good, but it’s chronologically inaccurate. He’s wearing the rings from films 2 & 3 and the baldric/belt from film 1. He had already replaced the baldric and added a second belt by the time he stole the purple ring from Tia Dalma… these are the things that make me crazy! (Wow.. I must be!) Same problem with the Jacks at the Disney parks. You’d think a place like Disney would pick up on that. Still– the detail in the figurine is pretty amazing and can’t be knocked!

    Funny the discussion about the likeness :-) The Exclusive is sold out as is so a lot of people do like it… including me… and for once my wife give me blessing to buy this PF ;-)

    Waited so long for this one only to see an average likeness of the character that it’s supposed to represent. Hopefully this prototype gets fixed prior to the final product.

    I have the Medicom RAH 12″ Jack Sparrow (COTBP)and the likeness to Depp is the best I’ve seen. This PF needs to be as good if not better for me to plunk down any doubloons matey’s. Fix the likeness Sideshow & we got a deal….arrrgh!

    For those of you who missed the photos in the production blog, he is holding the compass and the exclusive is a switch out hand with the pistol! Now granted that I think that they could have done a better job with the face, this will be the first PF I purchase from sideshow! And no it has nothing to do with the fact that am a Jack impersonator and have a close to screen accurate costume ;-D

    Likeness is close but not quite there. I’m not disappointed but I wish he had his trademark smirk. however, I think it will be a switch out head, like Indy, and we might still get the smirk version….

    I wished they got Trevor to do the likeness cause it is a difficult likeness to capture, but so far it looks good.

    This piece is number 1 in my list. I’ve been saving all my points to us on it and I think i have half the money, considering it is a $300 piece….

    I love Capt.Jack, but I’m disappointed from what I see so far. I don’t think the likeness is up to Sideshow’s usually high standards at this point. I’ll have to see some more pic’s from different angles before I bite on this one.
