Some time in the distant past, a group of power-craving Jedi abandoned the tenets of the order and became the Sith, a fallen regime of Force-wielders who called upon the dark side of the Force in a bid to dominate and control the galaxy. Those that could not be subjugated were destroyed. The Sith abused the very essence of life, the Force itself, bending it to their will and employing its power to corrupt and kill. These dark warriors were the antithesis of the Jedi, their sworn enemies, and the battle between them brought the galaxy to war more than once.
Long thought extinct by the Jedi, the Sith survived the last great conflict and went into hiding, biding their time as careful plans were laid for their eventual, triumphant return. Only two there ever were at once, a master and an apprentice, and in this tradition the Sith endured undetected, passing their accumulated power and knowledge down through the centuries.
After a thousand years, the diabolical genius Darth Sidious became the Dark Lord to achieve their ultimate goal. Through intricate planning and dazzling adaptability, the Sith Master rose to the office of Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, engineered a war, and undermined the Jedi until he could, in one swift, masterful stroke, destroy the Jedi Order and enslave the galaxy beneath his banner as Emperor.
In the Dark Lord's plan he had many willing servants and aides. A natural compliment to his own genius, the vividly tattooed Darth Maul was a living weapon and served his master unquestioningly until his surprise defeat on Naboo. Darth Tyranus, once the noble Jedi Count Dooku, was a stately aristocrat who grew dissatisfied with what he saw as a corrupt Senate served blindly by the Jedi. Lured to the dark side through pride and lust for power, Dooku became Sidious' pawn and the leader of the manipulated Separatists.
The greatest and most tragic of the Emperor's servants, however, was Anakin Skywalker, who, by the arts of Sidious, turned against his friends and family to become the very thing he had spent his life fighting. Overwhelmed by fear of loss, the bitterness of betrayal, and hunger for power, Anakin became Darth Vader, hunter of Jedi and the destroyer of the Order. His black, masked visage became the symbol of Imperial might as he lead his master's legions across the galaxy, imposing Sith rule by gloved fist and glowing lightsabre wherever he went.

it would be very cool if you could make a Darth reven or a Darth nihilus because they are in my opinion the 2nd and 3rd best sith lords in the entire franchise. so please and thank you
Well, as my avatar’s name: Exar Kun all the way, especially now we have good representation of him since SW Galaxies: cha.9, The fury of Exar Kun. That character was one of the first, if not the first, we had a full story and a back ground, how he felt to the Dark Side,…and was the first to have a double bladed lightsaber!

Darth Malak would be the best choice for a new Sith Lord. He’s got a lot of character, great back story, and a lot of people are familiar with him. Plus I think it will cool to see a removable steel jaw to see the damage done by Revan.

I would like to see some new blood be infused into this line with some old-time Sith. It would be great to see something like a Darth Revan, Darth Malak or even a Darth Nihiulus like we are getting in the 3 3/4″ line from Hasbro. The level of detail that Sideshow could bring to this line would be fantastic, something that would definitely sell out very quickly I imagine. Keep that in mind, maybe send out a survey about most desired characters. The Luke Skywalker figure is highly detailed but there are so many, we NEED something NEW!!!

I would like to comment that since we have already caught a glimpse of what Darth Sidious looks like as a hologram in the Mechno-Chair display that I may presume we will finally have a full 1/6 scale version of the Sith Master himself? What better way to continue the line of the Siths than to have Darth Sidious if not Darth Tyrranus or Darth Vader in full armor. Since the release of Darth Vader – Sith Apprentice, I already imagined the Darth Sidious figure would not be far from being manufactured. He would compliment so many of the figures already produced. Such as Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, Asajj Ventress. If you do decide to slate him for production, might add he have accessories like all his robes from both the pre-quel and original trilogy, interchangable heads before and after Mace Windu disfigured him, and also for his Sideshow Exclusive, his cane or walking stick from Episode VI. It would be a great addition to the Sith line. Thank you Sideshow for having produced some beautiful Jedi & Sith figures.

Got my Darth Sidious with Mechno Chair yesterday…
Very nice piece – the holgram is detailed (as detailed as a semi opaque Sith Lord can be!) and the chair is nicely detailed and antiqued.
The only problem is that the legs on mine are too loose to have it standing with the figure on top. The front legs are good (there are screws in the joints), but the back legs are the problem on mine – the weight of the figure causes them to slide out backward. Anybody else having this issue?
I think what I’ll have to do is make a textured floor section from the Naboo Palace and drill small holes in four places to accomodate the pointed “feet” of the chair to keep the back ones from sliding out.
Looking forward to your next announcement for 12″ scale SW figures – I’ve got ‘em all so far!

I am very disturbed in the force by certain things. It seems okay to have accessories for particular figures like Jabba the Hutt and his throne to sit on but what’s with a Holographic Darth Sidious with Mechano-chair? I hope this is a very late April Fool’s joke. I would rather have the 1:6 scale figure of Darth Sidious himself! It would be more sensible to put more efforts and energy to the figures than for accessories. I guess it has been a while since a true Sith Lord has been developed for the Lords of the Sith line that would assume another figure would come out soon. But let’s be reasonable. Please bring out another Sith Lord. PLEASE.
I just realized something. You guys should be able to manufacture another Lord of the Sith with no problem. You already have a head mold of Christopher Lee as Scaramanga in the James Bond 12″ line. You can easily put one together for his role as Darth Tyranus in the Star Wars movies. You already did that for Robert Patrick in his role as T-1000 for the Terminator 12″ line and Doggett for the X-Files 12″ line. I’m just mentioning because there is just 3 so far and it would somewhat balance it out with the Jedi figures. Please consider this… that or at the least Darth Sidious. Thanks Sideshow for the best quality figures.

I ordered the Darth Maul from here and I got the Darth Vader Sith Apprentice as a birthday gift in October 2006 from my twin brother. The thing is he picked it up in London,England. I haven’t seen it on store shelves in the US yet. Needless to say that was my best birthday gift this year! I can’t wait to see who’s next maybe Count Dooku?
I just got my Darth Maul the other day and he is my first, I can say that they totally destroy the hasbro figures that I have. I am hooked into collecting these things! after you get one you want to get more! I am trying to get my hands on a Vader which looks amazing in the pictures. I can’t imagine what it looks like in person. I am hoping sideshow makes some KOTOR figrues for this line. How about a Darth Sion or a Malak? that would be Sweet! I still want to see a Dooku and a Sidious too. The exclusive Sidious could come with two diffrent profiles that were sidious and palpatine so you could reinact the mace-palpatine duel from ROTS. And maybe for dooku the death star hologram plans for an exclusive?
I just wanted to leave a word of appreciation with you guys at Side Show Collectibles. Not only have you taken on the Star Wars collection, but you’ve done an amazing job. I’ve always felt that your figure’s bodies are too wobbly, but you’ve really outdone yourselves with the new Darth Maul figure. The body has tight joints and superior posing capabilities than any other figure you’ve released. I hope you will continue to use this body with your new releases. The face sculpts and accessories have always been great, but with this new body your figures will be perfect!

Please Sideshow folks … make a return of the Jedi Emperor on his throne set. Sideous from ROTS is nowhere near as cool and awe inspiring as the Emperor in Return of the Jedi. Love him to come with his cane and two different faces a docile one and one really furious. Hasbro made a decent ROTS one we just need a really good ROTJ Emperor maybe make an extra set of hands weilding that force lightning I have your whole set thus far and will keep on buying every piece

But the best part of this figure? Thanks to the cool styrofoam packing inserts on the top and bottom of the figure box, my Darth Maul box arrived in pristine condition. Infinitely better than the shape the boxes of my earlier figures arrived in. I love this new packaging for shipping. Use it on all future figure or I’ll be forced to use a Jedi mind trick on you and get my next 10 figures for free!
Hey Sideshow, AWESOME job with your Star Wars line, I love it. I don’t know if anyone’s suggested this, but being that you guys are getting into the Expanded Universe with Asajj, I think it would be cool if you guys made a figure of Sith-in-training Carnor Jax from the Crimson Empire comic for the Lords of the Sith line! You could do swappable portraits with and without the helmet, and include his scout blaster and double bladed staff! And then fellow royal guardsmen Kir Kanos could be a relatively easy to produce companion piece as part of the Militaries of Star Wars line (all he would need is a new unmasked head sculpt, new paint, and new left gauntlet)! That would be great! I would love to see an Original Trilogy Darth Vader realized in Sideshow 12-inch form too! Anyways, thanks for the great stuff and keep up the amazing work!

I just saw that hasbro is going to release to their general starwars action figure line, Darth Revan. It is a fan favorite and people voted for it. I think Sideshow should make a Darth Revan 12 inch figure to add to the Lords of the Sith line. He was not in the movies, and he is a character from Star Wars’s past, but he is widely loved by fans of Knights of the Old Republic. Just like the initial pre-odrers of Asajj Ventress sold quickly, so to do I think that a Darth Revan figure would also sell as well if not better since KOTR had such a large following. It would be cool to stand Dark Lords of the past next to ones in the movies. You guys do great work at SideShow. Thanks!!!
This is a great line to explore. So many good candidates especially from the Expanded Universe. I would enjoy seeing some of the Sith Lords from the video games make an appearance. Knights of the Old Republic to be exact. There would be some fantastic figures to come from that Franchise. Keep up the good work SS. May the Force be With you!
Where is VADER?!?!?!?! I’m tired of the horrible Hasbro versions that have heads big enough to have their own eco-system!
Just in case SIDESHOW doesn’t know, the reference for some of the very cool characters mentioned is in two XBOX games: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC 1 and 2. All the 12″ star wars figures out now are from the end of the Republic’s reign, and there is thousands of years between it and the old republic. Legion Emperor has spoken, dismissed.
I recieved my replacement Sith Anakin gloved arm not too long ago. Kudos to Sideshow for their awesome customer service, even when it comes to replacing their defective product at no charge to their loyal customers!
Sideshow: Your 12″ line is simply awesome. I will be recieving my Darth Maul exclusive soon, but I can already tell that it will be as amazing (if not more so) than I believe it will be. Fantastic job. Absolutley fabulous. The sith Anakin looks nice, although it would be cool to see all the sith with dark jedi robes. Black, just like Maul’s. That would give Anakin some more darkness.

I’ve been very impressed with all of Sideshow’s figures especially the Star Wars Line and I’m glad to have lots of Jedi but I would like to see some more Sith. Perhaps a Dooku and a Post ROTS Vader and most of all a Palpatine, as he appeared in his battle against Windu if possible. A grievous would also be awesome.
Yes Paul… Count Dooku! A decent scale version of Sidious’ underling would be great posed with Anakin and Obi-Wan. Please SSC… Dooku next! Of course a Palpatine/Sidious would go well with Mace Windu, but u have to do Dooku first. I’m begging you

From the prequel trilogy my favourite villain was Dooku, so i’d be really interested in seeing him created… great work done so far on the others, i just want to see dooku get the same treatment…
alright i’m gonna go “geek” for a minute so please stay with me. i think in order to have a true sith lord the line needs to go into the expanded universe. using characters like “Darth Bane”, “Exar Kun”, and “Revan”. as for as the sith in the films, the only true “Sith Lord” was “Sidious”. every other sith in the films call him master. don’t get me wrong all the figures look great! and if and when i get the money there is going to be a UPS truck in front of my house filled with the whole SW line. but SIDESHOW, i’d love to see you guys go down the dark path. that having been said, i’m done.

I agree 100% with Mike C. about the wait list. I just received an e mail today from Sideshow saying that I will be getting my own Sith Anakin as a result my wait list order. I can’t wait to see the figure up close and in person. Thanks so much Sideshow! You guys are awesome! As far as the Sith line goes, I think Darth Maul is going to look fantastic and can’t wait. I agree that Darth Tyranus (Count Dooku) will most likely be the next Sith. I think Emporer Palpatine will be further down the line as will Darth Vader.

I would just like to say that the Darth Vader Sith Apprentice is one of the best face sculpts in the series and I can’t wait to see how Darth Maul looks up close. I also like how Sideshow has released only two at a time. I’m hoping next year comes quick and a big headliner like Darth Sidious is among them. Keep up the good work Sideshow. I would just like to add that the wait list is the greatest thing ever. It was the only way I could get my hands on the Sith Anakin. Just wanted to say thank you Sideshow.

I would really like to see more sith dolls from sideshow coming from the pc games, ps1, ps2 aswell as expanded universe. E.G. From pc games darth revan, darth malak, darth kreia, darth nihilus, from expanded universe exar koon, luke when he went to dark side momentarily in the expanded universe etc.
I got my anakin and kit fisto last week of august i switched there robes and fisto’s robe looks better on vader since the hood is larger like in the movie anyway fisto doesn’t use his hood in the movies because of his tentacles..

I still stand by my original thoughts on the Sith line. I’d rather get one or two a year like this year than have Sideshow delve to deep into EU Sith Lords. I’d rather they stick with film characters for the time being. But I know how many die-hard EU fans there are out there, so I’m sure they’re gonna get into EU Siths eventually. I won’t be spending my cash on EU Siths, but I’m sure they’d have no problem selling them. And I’m sure alot of people would be psyched to finally have them in their collections. I don’t mind sitting out a round or two for people to get their hands on their favorite EU Sith Lords.
I wonder just how much longer this line will stay dormant. When will we be getting word about the next installment to the Lords of the Sith?
I’m hoping that by the end of the year, we will be pre-ordering a Palpatine/Sidious from the Mace Windu fight in ROTS.

Darth Vader is my favourite character in star wars preferbly in the old set of films.I have loads of collectibles in my room and when I found sideshow collectibles premium format Vader let me tell you it beet every collectible I’ve ever seen!It looks just like him from a new hope it’s a little pricey but I’m sure to get one some day VADER ROCKS!!
I recently got General Grievous, and I also have vader & obi wan in premium format, and I have to say that these statues are great! I would have liked to see a bit more variety in them though, vader and obi wan both light up but what about grievous. But I garentee that ill be expanding my collection with more of these! GREAT products here thks.
The peg on my Sith Anakin’s gloved arm broke when I tried to replace it with the mechanical arm. I was very careful when trying to remove it, but it popped right off. Careful everyone! On the plus side, the mechanical arm looks even better than the gloved one! Vader would be sweet, but I hope Sideshow spaces out the Sith a bit, since there are so few to keep this line going. Vader is my favorite character, but I can wait a year or two if Sideshow keeps up with the other amazing lines they have going. Thank you for bringing such amazing additions to our Star Wars collections!
I’ve collected almost all of the star wars 12″ And these blow away the kenner line. They are a little more in price but the looks are dead on.Any star wars collector should not miss any of these lines.Keep up the good products.

I thought the Luke was amazing. This Sith Anakin is unreal. I spent about an hour getting the hood to lay over 1/3 oof his face and my god this piece is stunning!!! Keep it up Sideshow.

figures are nice,but one thing is the peg part of hand,should been harder or something cause the hands come off so easily.

I recieved my Sith Anakin today and let me just say, Sideshow you have outdone yourselves! I thought Kit Fisto was good, but Sith Anakin has topped the list! Awesome job Sideshow! I never collected 12″ figures until Sideshow came along, but now I’m hooked!
