If this is all about making money to you perhaps you should invest in stocks and bonds and not buy collectors action figures. Now if there were only a way to weed out those who just wanna make a profit…….oh yeah, this inclusive thing just might help a bit. God forbid you actually have a passion for something other than the almighty dollar.
This figure is awesome! I cant wait to get a pre order in today but my question is: is it going to be 50-70 bucks like all the rest of the figures?

So,that means that the production numbers will most likely be higher. Which means this one won’t be as difficult to find in the future. I collect all kinds of art. However, if you aren’t looking at it from an investment point of view, I guess it really does’nt matter if you find these at a mass retailer in the very near future. I mean, Hasbro has thier hands in this venture. So I was told.
Man, do some of you people seriously collect these things just because of some perceived monetary value? Or is it the fact that you want to be so “cool” and “elite” by owning a limited run figure…? Either way, none of this makes any sense to me whatsoever. I collect these Sideshow Figures because they are exceptionally well sculpted and detailed representations of my favorite film characters. I buy the exclusive versions just because they happen to come with yet another cool accessory that makes the figure that much more exciting to me. I wouldn’t care if they did away with exclusives all together as long as the figures maintained the high quality of the previous ones. I guess I’m an oddball…

One of the coolest characters (next to Bobba Fett) in the Star Wars universe has finally been produced! Lucas should be commended for bringing Darth Maul into the light to show what pure evil is (and I mean that in a good way). Ray did a fine job in portraying one of the universes truly evil characters (even surpasing Darth Vader in my opinion). Looking forward to the release and getting my hands on one.

This Maul figure looks fantastic! I can’t wait to get one. I was glad to see that you didn’t make a grinning Maul. I’ve seen figures of Maul before that I swear looked like the Joker. I don’t buy those. Darth Maul bared his teeth once in TPM and it’s just not what the character is about. Thank you very much! You’ve done justice to Darth Maul. Ray would be proud.
Now, how about that Quinlan Vos 12″ figure?

I Love it! I was waiting for this one since April 1St. I wasn’t able to get the full scale figure and that one was great workmanship and the likeness fantastic. I’ll be on line the 15th. Super Job as always Sideshow!!

Way to go Sideshow, Darth Maul looks great, definitely a fan pleaser. Now what we need next is a definitive Palpatine/Sidious figure, followed by Dooku and suited Vader.

In either the new Lee’s or new SW Insider they state that Maul will be $50 and the expansion pack $30. I think some people will have a hard time spending $80 on them both. Perhaps this alone will keep production numbers low.
Any idea how much this figure will cost?

WOW! He looks great, but I really would like you to make a Greedo, Aayla (ROTS, Darth Vader (ROTJ, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Ponda Baba, Sgt. Doallyn, or Solomahal.
This figure really seems to be the truth, I can’t wait to get my mitts on it.

I haven’t gotten any of the Sideshow Star Wars figures yet.
I do have some from the HellBoy series, though.
The body joints are too loose on those figures!

I hope that his elbow articulation works…unlike my Jedi Luke figure.
The inclusive time-frame is set from Thursday, June 15th at 6pm (PST) through Monday, June 19th at 6pm (PST). That should give everybody that wants a Darth Maul enough time to order him. BUT SSC, if you ever decide to choose a smaller time-frame (like only 2 or 3 hours), please start the inclusive ordering earlier than 6 pm PST!!! 6PM PST, is in the middle of the night for the EU collectors.
Sideshow, thank you for the Inclusive edition. Please keep doing this sort of thing for the fan favorite characters (Maul, Vader, Boba/Jango Fett, Clone Troopers, Stormtroopers). Sideshow sets the pace in the SW collecting community for great new ideas, handling convention exclusives, and excellent customer service. Keep up the good work.

Looks like another winner from SS! I know there’s going to be this window of time to order but I wonder how many people are going to order this thing as soon as the gates open (9PM EST for me). I for one will just to get that sweet piece of mind, knowing that someday a couple of months from now on some unsuspecting afternoon, I’ll revert back to my 12-year old self.

Well, it’s nice to have something a little different in the line and Maul is definitely that. So will it go on sale at 6 pm PST or PDT? I’m pretty sure all of California is in PDT.

This is truly wonderful. The inclusive edition is a wonderful idea and starting it off with Darth Maul increases the wonder exponentially. I am sure this might lessen the market value of the product but I like to PLAY with my toys not collect them. My only concern is quality control. Hopefully corners won’t be cut in bringing this latest Star Wars figure out to the masses. Otherwise all is a go for me to purchase a beautiful version of perhaps the most popular character of the prequels. Thank you Sideshow!
I must say that I have been very impressed with the sculpts and now the “Inclusive” editions of your 1/6 figures, but can you please start to move away from producing so many episode I, II, and III figures? So far you have only produced two classic figures (which I must say, I loved what you did with Luke and can’t wait for Han), but where is Leia, Lando, Old Ben, Boba Fett, etc… I was excited to hear you were anouncing a new 12″ figure today, and was so let down to learn it was another prequel character. I guess that is more money for me to save until you eventually release characters from the original trilogy.
Now that you people have made a 12 inch figure of maul. You people should definatly think on makeing a premium format figure of maul. Now wouldnt that be great?

Love the sculpt on Maul’s face but I wouldn’t mind a version of him grimacing and bearing his teeth! I wonder if SS would consider doing figures with interchangable heads? Either way I do love this figure!

Great choice for your next character SS. Hopefully we’ll see a whole range of Sith from all the movies, both Classic and Prequel versions. Now that we have the ultimate version of Maul, maybe down the line you can do an Episode 1 version of Obi-Wan so you can cut him in half!

Rishi – its not. Read about Inclusive Editions on that page. It says that the inclusive will come with special accessories not available with the regular edition. Just like a sideshow exclusive edition. The only change is that the word ‘exclusive’ is replaced with ‘inclusive’ and that instead of being limited by a set amount, it is limited by time. It will still be limited. I can’t wait!!!
And the droid probe set is just frosting on the cake baby! If you don’t want it, you don’t have to get it.
As I understand it looks like this Maul will be the same as the standard version without any extra items? The Sith probe ‘expansion pack’ looks to be an add on which will have its own packaging and price tag? This will be more limited as this item is only available through the Sideshow site.

This looks great. I’m so glad the Sith are here! I pre ordered the Sith Anakin (which looks sick) and this Maul looks great too. LOVE the idea of the expansion packs! I cant’ wait to see what other ones are in store down the road. Who will be the next Sith? Dooku???

Sideshow, you might take a while to get your products released but it is worth the wait. I only order one of each of your Star Wars products but I think that I will be buying two Darth Mauls now that you have declared your willingness to satisfy every customer with the inclusive editions!

Derek… the Maul pre-order is June 19th, Comic-Con is JULY 19th. And there’s really no excuse for not getting to a phone or computer over the course of 5 days.

Wow, Sideshow did a superb job on Maul, it has surpassed my expectations (even though the lightsaber doesn’t light up). Now with this inclusive system, hopefully it won’t too hard get it. Now Sideshow, please let Darth Sidious be next.
