Oi, it’s now 9.32 and I still can’t pre-order Jabba! What’s happening??!!

Thank you…to the Sideshow Toy Gods for this recent addition to the 12″ collectibles. Since acquiring the license to produce the Star Wars 12″, I’ve wondered how long it would be before the sculpters at Sideshow would tackle the Jabba’s Palace. Between the Illusive Concepts Jabba maquette (which is near 12″ scale) & the Hasbro 12″ figures I have collected over the years, I’ve made my own version of Jabba’s Palace. However, the detail of the Sideshow versions looks impressive; most impressive. I’m looking forward to replacing my present palace with a better quality collection.

I work today and won’t be able to order this till a few hours later when I get off work. I know I have plenty of time with Jabba but I’m concerned about the throne, I hope it doesn’t sell out! They should have made that inclusive too!

Awesome!!! Jabba looks Great and he will be a nice addition to my collection. I will purchase all that you can produce for these large scale figures Sideshow. BRING THEM ON!!! All of them! I thought that it was getting a bit slow after the Darth Maul Figure release. But you have sure surprised me with the release of these 3 new characters. Keep them coming at a steady pace and please do not stop. You still have a lot to go so come on with it. Who will the next 3 figures be ??? A dewback? A wampa? A Taun Taun? Can’t wait to find out the other surprises you have for us. Once again Great Job Sideshow and keep up the good work.

I guess I’d better start preparing for tomorrow’s pre-order mania, although, thankfully, it will be of the less-painful inclusive variety. It will be a nice prelude to, what I fear will be, the madness that will be the Leia as Boushh exclusive pre-order.

What am I going to do?

I might cop it, depends on the scratch they want for it.

Now with Jabba Throne Enviroment will they be plenty of them made that everyone who wants Jabba to have a throne can get it during the inclusive preorder time.

Some clarification on the pre-ordering: Jabba and Salacious will have Inclusive editions, which will include extra accessories (Pre-Order anytime from 9:30am Pacific time on Friday, July 21st through 6pm Pacific time Wednesday, July 26th), as well as the normal regular editions available through distributors, retailers or direct from Sideshow. Jabba’s Throne - ‘Domestic Exclusive’ means that IF you live in the US, you will only be able to order direct from Sideshow, as retailers will not be receiving an allotment. If you live outside the US, your local distributor may be carrying it OR you can order direct from Sideshow. There will be Exclusive editions of the Leia and Bib figures (see description for Priority Pre-Order date if you are a newsletter subscriber), but as usual, there will also be a regular edition of these figures, available from distributors, retailers and direct from Sideshow.

This all looks absolutely stunning but looking at the order pages, whats all the weirdness with Bib and Leia being exclusive only editions and the base being a domestic exclusive?
I damn well hope that doesnt mean the Bib and Leia will be as hard to get as previous exclusive versions of the figures. The occasional blaster or hologram I can do without but a whole figure is taking the piss.
I thought that this kind of hassle was why they invented the inclusive editions? And if I cant get a throne here in the U.K. I certainly aint gonna bother with Jabba at all.
Maybe Ive got my wires crossed, and I hate to gripe at such stunning dolls, but if Im not gonna be able to get them without bending over backwards then dont bloody well show them to me!
I want to simply go to a website, pop them in a cart and checkout at my leisure, whats the harm in that?

Great! A dream comes true… that is if I can get hold of the other four parts. The other toys in my display cabinet will have to make way for Jabba!

I love this Jsbba, although I doubt there will be much articulation. Now we need a Palpatine/Sidious with a throne set (like with Jabba) next, and I’d love to see his lightsaber with a lightup feature. I’m suprised Palpatine wasn’t announced at SDCC, maybe afterwards hopefully.

I can’t believe they are making this. I am so happy. And to think I very nearly didn’t buy the Jedi Luke. Phew.

I wonder what the price is. I don’t mind too much, as it looks beautiful. And with the accessories, there is going to be one cool sideshow display in my house! I just hope the throne is available in the EU.

Incredible. My silent prayers are answered. The holy grail of my childhood collection has just taken the leap in to my adult collection. This will be a pricey addition between Jabba and the throne but I think it will be well worth it. Give me an Oola and a Slave Leia and we can call it a day. Amazing stuff, Sideshow! Eager to see what the inclusive accessory will be!

All I have to say is UTTERLY AMAZING!!!. You guys have totally nailed it with this one by giving the fans what we have been wanting for years!!! All I have to say is bring on Slave Leia!!!
