i think, detail in his helmet its great however, two heads its more functionally,
Luanne I had the same thing happen w/my anakin,it’s nothingwith the figure,these are beauty pieces ment more for display than play,just put the hands back on & keep kit away from master sidious!!!
Hi,I got a Kit Fisto,can anyone tell me if they having problems with hands,they seem to come off very easy,when I bend them they are off,is this normal or any way to fix it better.I suppose Luke and Anakin the same too?other than that not bad.Can’t wait until maul,and Jabba.how about a Borga creature.

It’s kinda funny that I take all of my figures out of the box & display them, usually even throwing the box away “GASP”, & I have yet to get an item from SS that has been damaged in any way. Now that I am getting the SS Star Wars 12″ figs & they have so many accessories that can’t be displayed with the figure all at once, I have been keeping the boxes to store all those extra accessories or unused Jedi robes in.

Hey SSC, your 12″ Star Wars line is fantastic but the way you package each figure really sucks!! Two of the four 12″ figures I’ve received from you have suffered damage to the boxes. Some Star Wars collectors are completely changing their collecting habits based on this line. Please pack the figures better!! How hard can it be to get a bigger box, put a couple of extra pieces of bubble-wrap in there for padding. I’m already cringing about the box-condition of the 12″ Jabba when that huge thing arrives on my doorstep next year. I fully expect that thing to be damaged beyond recognition.
Please, please take the time to pack these 12″ figures better.

One of the guys at SS did an interview and said the Obi holdup was concerning his robes. I think its a color correction whereas in the prototype pics his tunic and stuff are white, but in the movie its more beige. Has anyone gotten their 1/4 scale Leia yet?
I hear it will have interchangeable Leia and Boussh helmet heads. As opposed to an actual wearable helmet. All these SS figs are putting an end to my customizing of the old kenner/hasbro 12″ers. With Gentle Giant and Kotobukiya, where do you guys put all this stuff? Darth Icarus: Palpatine from Ep.VI. I know its 20 plus years later for McDiarmid, but something’s not right with his face in Ep. III. Although his robes are pretty cool in Ep. III, and its the only time we see him with his lightsaber kicking Jedi-a$$.
I wanted to thank Sideshow for getting us this awesome figure and all the other ones we’ve been getting… But what is the deal with the Obi-wan figure? The Jedi Luke and Anakin have been shipped on time, and then Kit Fisto, Sith Anakin and now it’s Bespin Han’s turn. Where has Obi-wan gone? Did he go into hiding so far that nobody can find him to ship it to us? Anybody has any info on this?

Just a heads-up….according to the latest SW Insider 9the one with Han on the cover). Leia, Jabba, Bib and the est of the Comic-Con display are arriving in early 2007. I think that’s a good thing…the holidays are expensive enough as it is. Plus, i wouldn’t be surprised if a delay or two was in the stars for one or more of these peices. As long as the result is some excellent figures, the wait’ll be alright…

I think they can accomodate us nicely with just one palpatine figure: interchangeable heads and hands, and outfits. Although, they should allow a 2-item limit on that, so those who want to do both, can.
Expect 2-3 Premium Format figures a year.
And, don’t worry, guys, they’ll get around to making the “must haves” figures. Those, I am told are no-brainers, as they “Have to make them”. It’s the more obscure figures that will need the pressure put on.
My hopes is, they’ll do the entire Jedi Council; and a good Aurra Sing; and a few EU sith and Jedi. A yoda would be awesome; but, I can pass on a Yaddle. I want a Plo Koon, but, can pass on another Luke. 2 PFF and a 12″ is sufficient

Hey SS, what do you think about offering 2 Yoda’s together, an Episode IV & Episode II together with alot of cool accessories? That way since he is so much smaller you could still charge the same price as one of the larger figures. I have to have a Yoda I can pose with his little lightsaber & one posed as if he is raising an X-wing from the swamp. Gotta have.
Bring on the Stormtroopers. All the versions from all of the original trilogy films. on’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the prequels, but I’m 36 and Old-school all the way!!!!!

Yea, sure its probably someone like us- a broke, (adult)sucker for sweet action figures. OK dammit…we’re flipping obsessed! This is how it sould be done.1/4 scale:Padme(Ep.2),stormtrooper,leia slave girl,emperor(Ep.6). 1/6 scale:grand moff tarkin, lando(colt 45)calrissian, different versions of clone commanders(cody,bacara,kagi,etc.),shaak ti, droideka,greedo, and yet another 1/6 version of vader to add to our collections. Keep the comments comin’ boys.
personally I prefer the papaltine EP3 with the red suit.

I really think you should produce firgures that HAVENT been produced by hasbro already in 12” format. Yours are obviously the superior but I was most impressed with your kit fisto simply becuase it was new. Since you have already taken the route of starting a whole new line, I beg you, please dont start producing the same character over and over again. I have 10 different luke figures from Hasbro, and would hate to see you fall into the same rut.
P.S. If you produce a 12” Chewbaca I suggect you just put a fur suit over a standard body (possibly with an elongated torso) with molded hands, feet, and head.
You guys need to make yoda, the emperor (episode 3),R2-d2,C3po, bobba fett,jango fett,Prince xizor, Wedge and lando. F#$k Greedo Pleaseee he was only in the movie for 60 seconds.Besides that u guys are dont great man for real. Just hurry up with obi wan and qui gonman please. Peace

I agree that the face sulpt looks good. This is the only Jabba’s palace fig I can afford at the moment. I’m looking forward to the exclusive, although I don’t think there’ll be a huge run on it.
icarus, the exclusive was revealed in the last newsletter. It is an Ubese blaster pistol, not the thermal detonator.
please bring on the amored Vader(w/detailed 3 pc helmet) to make Mediacom’s Vader look like a Babie doll. Like SideShow did with Luke (side show nothing like the best)

Well that’s exactly what this limited ordering window goes against. There’s a demand that exceeds the supply. Hence the complaining.
It’s a valid complaint.
Not that I give a crap in most cases, the exclusive item is usually something I can do without, its mostly just for scalpers or people that get horny about having something that few others have, like that means something in the world of big toys!
This Leia as Boussh figure look nice and I think it was about time,since the female characters in Star Wars have become an important part of the saga. A slave Leia action figure would be interesting to match with your excellent Jabba. About the joints,that should be extremely important could it be possible to use the same system used in the Rambo figure? From my point of view,and to avoid the Barbie rigid look, that would be an option.
I am sooooo tired of all the complaints about priority preorder. If you have to work find a friend or family member that you trust and have them do it for you. If you think that the people that don’t have regular work hours aren’t making any money than put your name on the wait list and maybe you’ll get one. Supply and demand people.

I think I will skip out on this figure but I’m not saying I don’t like the figure, it’s just personally between the leia and bib figure I without a doubt would pick the bib figure to buy. My Mom said I could only have one of them.
For those wanting slave Leia, I think the Unleashed version is plenty good enough, look wise. To have a slave Leia in 6th scale would be too ugly in terms of seeing joints and stuff. Unless they do a Barbie body look, but then the articulation would go to hell. I think most 6th scales of anything would have to be clothed figures…
THOSE OF YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT THE FACE SCULPT, LOOK AT SOME OF THE OTHER PICS OF THIS FIGURE FROM COMIC-CON. IT IS AN AWESOME SCULPT. THE PREVIEW PIC DOESN’T DO IT JUSTICE. LEIA AND HAN HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOUGH SCULPTS. SIDESHOW IS FINALLY DOING THEM JUSTICE.

You guys are seeing a bad pic here. The real thing which was on display at comic con looks amazing. I dont think people will be disapointed. Way to go sideshow. Now the question is when do we get a suited Vader?!!!

I believe Sideshow has much love for Jabba’s Palace, which is awesome for me since that is my favorite part in all of the films!!!

While I LOVE the job that SS is doing with these 12″ figures and the sculpts are FAR BETTER than Hasbro did for the most part, I only wish that Sideshow could do more figures. Leia in point, I would have preferred a Bespin Gown Leia, as that is about the only 12″ Leia not produced during the Hasbro run (oh, wait, they didn’t do a 12″ Ewok Village Leia…hair down…either). Anyway, while GREAT SCULPTS are…well, GREAT…I’m hoping SS starts doing figures that have never seen a 12″ figure made. After having said all that, I will admit that I am looking forward to a SS version of Chewbacca (ALL Hasbro versions were AWFUL!!!) as long as it’s made taller than the other figures. I’m also hoping this Leia is a little shorter than 12″ so that she looks in scale with the others.
Fantastic likeness of Carrie Fisher and looks as good as Premium Format Leia.
Just wait till you see the leather like material used on the coat and the pants! I think this will be the best one yet! The helmet on the body looks a bit big, but it did in the movie too, so I think it’s pretty accurate. For me, I think this is the best Leia and am ellated that SS chose this one first! If this portrait makes it out of production fairly intact, she’ll be voted best of the bunch I think. Veryveryvery nice figure!
According to the newsletter, it’s the blaster pistol. This is going to be another long week of waiting and an expensive Christmas season with Jabba, Bib, Boba and now Leia due out later this year.
The exclusive is the strange looking pistol/gun in her right hand. Rest easy, the detonator is standard.
That reminds me, does anyone know FOR SURE what the “Exclusive” accessory will be? I hope it’s not just the thermal detonator. That should be available with both versions of the figure. That’s probably the one complaint, other than the nervousness felt during the load on the servers, that I have with these. It’s not shown what all comes with the figure until afterwards. I guess we’ll haveta see.
I think the likeness to Carrie Fisher is great, I can’t wait for August 4th! I only have one question SS…Where’s Chewbacca to go along with Bespin Han and now Boushh Leia?!?
Sure glad I’m off on Friday! That would really suck if I had to be at work without access to a computer. This one’s mine for sure, an exclusive to boot! Keep up the good work SS! Can’t wait to have the entire Jabba Palace scene.
Nice choice for a Classic pick. Bib was no problem for me and it shows you guys at SS are good on keeping up your server strength. This is the best likeness on any figure modeled on Carrie Fisher, realistic without looking too much like a “Barbie”. I’m with the above post for hoping for a Max Rebo Band as well. Here’s an idea for your Scum and Villany line… If you can do a Jabba Dias, what about offering peices of a Sand “Skiff” to offer with other characters in this line. You could easily squeeze out another 5 or 6 aliens or human figures with this line and put all the peices together to for a 12″ scale “Skiff”. Offer it like the Dias and maybe break it down into smaller peices bringing the price down a bit, giving fans a chance to build a real diaroma/playset. This might be a good selling point for secondary aliens/background characters and offer more incentive to buy.
I have to agree that Pre-Ordering this figure in the small “Exclusive” window will be nerve-wracking, but all I can do is hope I get through. I was surprised that the server was slow with Bib Fortuna today. I didn’t think too many people would go after him. I must say, although pictures from SDCC and here are all I’ve seen, her face still doesn’t seem to be the best likeness. I’m sure my opinion will change once I have the figure in-hand, but it seems that it is most difficult to get Carrie’s likeness. Best of luck to everyone!
Why is this not an inclusive edition? I have to work this Friday! People who work is where the $$$ is at! That is the flaw in this type of ordering scheme.

Is it me or does any one else think the collar is a bit out of scale? Looking back at the movie, it appears it comes all the way down to the mid-wrap and stretches to the should seams.
The figure is still great and SS is doing an amazing job with their 12″ line. I haven’t yielded to any of them yet but think I might now that I getting all 3 of the Jabba pieces.
So what is the inclusive/exclusive accessory then? I can’t seem to think of anything she would have besides the pike, helmet and thermal detonator.
I think if Chewie comes out, he will come with his ‘captured’ chains.
I would love a Frozen Han Solo in Carbonite figure. Maybe with a Fett someday…
This figure looks wayyyyy better than the shot they have here. I saw it at SDCC and it is totally awesome.
For those who don’t know, SS has stated that they will not make a fig with a helmet that fits over the production sculpt and this fig is no exception. The helmet has a peg head in it. The Leia head pops off and the helmet “head” pops on in its place. You could clearly see it at SDCC.
And for all who think differently, Mace is the least accurate sculpt that SS has done to date. Trust me, I can say this with authority because I saw ALL of them at SDCC together and he is definately the worst. Not bad, but not as good as the rest either.
I think it’s great that they made another Leia, but I still think we need a Padme. For the next figure, a Queen Amidala would be awesome! Oh, and Leia looks great !
Leia in slave outfit better? With SSC’s current bodies? You gotta be kidding. The only way to make an awesome Slave Leia would be Premium Format.
The Thermal detonator should be part of the regular package since it was a prominent part of her role. The exclusive should be something else but I have no idea what else there could be, so it probably will be the detonator (unless it’s the chains that Chewie had on). I think the face sculpt looks great!
I’m new to this web page (approx 3 months)and can believe I never heard of it sooner. thanks rebelscum. I have two slidshow 12″ figures, Luke and Anakin…amazing….I can wait to order Leia as Boushh. I can see my collection get larger and larger..keep up the great work.

We need han in carbonite, Gamorean Guards, Lando in Skiff Gear, Threepio, Chewie in handcuffs, oh yeah and a 12″ scale rancor to shove that bone into his mouth from the Jedi Luke figure. But I’m still waiting for a Greedo figure. Come on guy. I dont have 800 buck to shell out for the life-size bust!

this picture is too “straight on” and doesn’t do the sculpt justice. if anything i think the han solo 12″ looks the least like the actual actor.
