I have stood by and waited as imo none of the previous figure series were really worth purchasing. I can finally jump on board as this new series is exactly what I have been waiting for. I just had half of my study redesigned for the sole purpose of these figures. I went with recessed alabaster shelving with recessed lighting and it looks absolutely AMAZING. I cant wait to start adding the figures from this series.
It may have taken Sideshow awhile in regards to getting these figures right but I am thankful to say that they finally got it right. I for one plan on buying all of them. With that being said The Morgul Lord will most assuredly be my favorite. It looks outstanding and again I just cant wait to get it on my shelves!!
a lot of movement in this pose. i think the cloak material is a little bulky. would’ve thought they’d use more layers of a thinner material to get a more ‘whispy’ feel too it like was done in the costumes for the flicks. at 1/4 scale every detail matters especially when the decision’s made to do something atypical in statues by using mixed media, as those details become even more important i think.
Not dissapointed with this. Flaming sword looks waaaay off, but then it’s removeable so not a problem. Looking at the apple scale, his Lordship is going to be HUGE!!

He who waits wins.This could very well be the best and most anticipated LOTR PF to date.From the preview it appears to be a very dramatic pose possibly in mid swing with sword and hopefully his mace , like the fight scene with Eowyn in ROTK.All I know is tomorrow when we see the full reveal one word comes to mind BADASS

Maybe a 1:3 or 1:4. I guess the production team must have all our wishes written down, and then give us a big surprise for CHristmas next year yes ?

This looks great but where is Gimli? For such a great character, there sure is a shortage of depictions, in any scale! Come on, Sideshow, cough up a badass dwarf before I “bury my axe in your nervous system!”

Why do all of you like the baddies? Sideshow gets way too much money by focusing on the villains rather than the heroes that they NEVER make – Pippin, Merry, Arwen, Theoden, Eomer, etc…
The baddies rule! Apparently we have another one coming in the form or an Orc PF sometime after SDCC. The amazing Aragorn maquette, now this one, and another baddie in a couple of month’s. Does it get any better than that? Finally, some LOTR love from Sideshow!!
It would be nice if Sideshow WETA could release a Morgul Lord on Fell Beast maquette, like just before the fight with Eowyn. And make it a 1:3 scale or 1:4 scale. Just bigger than the website exclusive Sideshow WETA Balrog. Man i missed out on that one. Something else that they could do for us is that they could make a Ringwraith on Horse Premium Format. But it probably will not be out that soon.

The dark Morgul lord will make a great premium figure. I hope that it has a removable helmet with the ghostly face under.
