Endor Rebel Commando 12-inch figure FAQ
Collectors have posted additional questions about our Rebel Commando figures on various news boards and forums. We have collected a few of the most popular and provided the answers that you have requested!
Q: When will the Endor Strike Force Bundle be available for pre-order?
A: Thursday, October 5th, 2006 when the newsletter is published (typically between 6pm and 7pm Pacific Time).
Q: Will the bundle be available for a specific period of time, or will it be limited by number?
A: The bundle will be available for only a short time, a few days at the most. This purchasing opportunity should be considered as a 'combined shipping option' for the Endor Troopers and does not have its own edition size. The three figures are limited editions, and the edition sizes can found on the individual pre-order pages when they are posted.
Q: Can you order the Endor Strike Force Bundle by phone?
A: This item will be available to our collectors through our newsletter after business hours on Thursday, October 5th. You can order it online at that time, or you can wait until our Customer Service departments returns for business on Friday, October 6th at 9am PT to place your pre-order.
Q: How many of each of the 3 Rebel Commando figures and the bundle will we be allowed to order, per person, per account?
A: 2 of each figure, per person, per account. This means you can order up to 2 bundles and 2 of each individual figure if you would like.
Q: Will there be a Sideshow Exclusive edition of the Rebel Infantry Soldier?
A: No, there is only one edition of this figure, which will be available through all outlets: direct at SideshowCollectibles.com, through our distributors, and from our retailers.
Q: Will there be regular editions of the Rebel Sergeant and Nik Sant figures?
A: No, these 2 figures will be available as Sideshow Domestic Exclusives only, which can be obtained 2 ways: direct at SideshowCollectibles.com through the Priority Pre-Order opportunities listed on the official preview, or from one of our International Distributors. [Click Here for our International Distributor list]
Q: If we purchase the bundle, when will we receive the $25 Gift Card, and what can it be used to purchase?
A: Collectors who pre-order the bundle will receive the Gift Card with that shipment. The estimated shipping date will be published on the bundle product page, and will be updated, if necessary, as the shipping date approaches. The $25 Gift Card can be used on select in-stock items at SideshowCollectibles.com. When you receive the shipment, please follow the instructions on the back of the Gift Card to redeem the value.
Q: What is a 'specialty shipper box'? Does this mean that the bundle will come in a specially designed 3-pack window box?
A: The bundled figures will be individually packaged and then repacked together in a large shipping box to save you money on delivery charges. The specialty shipper box should NOT be mistaken for a 3-pack window product display box.
Q: What are the prices for the figures and the bundle?
A: Each individual Rebel Commando 12-inch figure will retail at $59.99, and each will come with a unique selection of accessories. The Endor Strike Force Bundle will be $179.97, which includes all the extra goodies listed on the official preview. [Click Here for the Preview]

Hey Sideshow!!! Great job on the Rebel Endor Commandos except that Nik Sant needs a backpack. He isn’t shown with one in the bundle photos but has a soft pack in the movie Return of the Jedi. In order to keep him accurate to the way he is shown in the movie, he needs to have a soft pack. He doesn’t have many accessories anyway and it shouldn’t be difficult to add a soft pack since the Sargeant already has one. Let’s make these guys film accurate if they have appeared in the films. Anybody else agree?? Let Sideshow know. They do listen.
It would be nice if there was actually Star Wars stuff you could buy with the gift card. If you figure that in, it’s only $155 for the 3-pack plus $10 shipping. Whereas the individual figures are $180 plus $23.50 shipping, so a difference of about $40.
I was also expecting a cheaper price on the bundle. Even if it was only $5 off each figure would have been nice.
Thanks for the bundle idea, every penny i can save, i’ll turn around & spend on MORE STAR WARS stuff. Some people might not be thrilled that they’ll only save on shipping costs, but when shipping out of country that’ll really add up. Way to go Sideshow, this shows you’re thinking of all us fans that get clobbered by high shipping costs.
Did anyone else expect the bundle to have a discounted price, not just a combined shipping discount? I was expecting the 3-pack bundle to sell for $150 or less. There is no savings exept on shipping. The 3-pack is out of my price range, as it seems to be for many collectors according to the feedback I’ve read. Maybe I’ll buy the old dude with the beard, Nik Sant, since I actually remember seeing that character in the movie during a couple scenes. I hope lack of interest from collectors doen’t prevent future variations of “army builders” from being made. Clone troopers & commanders, stormtroopers, etc.; are the soldiers that fans would be more likely to want multiples of. Hopefully these Endor soldiers don’t hinder the possibility of seeing other, more sought after troop variations. LETS SEE SOME OF THE FEMALE JEDI’S GET THE 12″ TREATMENT FROM SIDESHOW! P.S…I would have rather seen one of the 3 soldiers be the character that Hasbro just released as the Caucasian Rebel Trooper(Endor Gear). Colonel(later promoted to General) Airen Cracken according to the SW visual dictionary.
Thank you SS for keeping those prices low.
Thank you Sideshow for the way you are distributing these things. I like the idea of the bundles and hope you continue this for all of the troops sets that have multiple figures. I am so glad you all make the process of getting a figure as fair as possible with everyone knowing when these will be put up for preorder and that they want sell out in minutes. This needs to continue for all troops. Great idea.
Thanks for letting us know how to get this ordered. I was a little confused from the last newsletter but this cleared it up! Thanks again!
Thank you for posting these FAQ. When ever you guys do something new and don’t throughly explain it to us we tend to go nuts and fear the worst! Glad you are letting people buy multiples.
Thanks Sideshow for Q&A on the Endor Rebel Commandos. It cleared up a lot for me. Based on the Q&A, I will be grabbing the Exclusive Nick Sant and Rebel Commando Sargeant for sure since they are exclusives. Not sure about the Infantry yet. I will have to see what accessories he will come with.
