You have to understand that RAH figures are not produced by Sideshow. They are made by the Japanese toy company named Medicom. $100+ is the average price for a Medicom figure, and, as a Medicom collector for perhaps the past 7 years, I feel that it is well worth it. Heck, at least you’re not paying shipping from Japan.
I commend Sideshow for making Medicom figures this much easier to collect, especially since before this, it was sometimes the case that one had to go through a smaller reseller and at times might pay closer to $200 for certain pieces. So, once again, thank you Sideshow! I hope to see more Medicom figures, hopefully less mainstream ones, too!

I saw the 3 heads that were shown in the above pic but never saw the full figures-while others say”cool they look great”did I miss something? I get the newsletter,everyday i come on the site-now they are gone,what`s up?
Sideshow’s RAH are over-priced! For $100, I expect to get Ghost Rider’s cycle, along with the figure.
I already pre-ordered mine here and they were $99 ea. with a limit of 2 of each figure per person.
does anyone know how much these figures will cost of when the pre-orders begin?

These figures are awseom im defenetly going to get spidey in his black suit.
If memory serves me, Spidey’s original symbiote costume in the comic didn’t have any webs at all, it was jet black and was only adorned with the spider logo front and back. Now, I realize this is the MOVIE version we’re talking about here, but does it really matter if the webs are black or silver?
Sandman is interesting because he can change the composition of his body, but unless Medicom or someone else figures out a way to make a figure with interchangeable parts, all we’re gonna get is a 12″ figure of a mean-looking thug in street clothes! I think I’ll hold out and hope that SSC makes a ‘Sandman vs Spidey’ diorama statue, or a Sandman PF figure, so they can bring out what makes Sandman such an interesting and deadly villain. Please, SSC, make it so!
I think Medicom does great work and cannot wait for these goodies.
I really hope Sidershow is producing their own items for this movie.

Black webbing is an unacceptable flaw, made obvious on the symbiote costume. Shame on Medicom.

Great stuff, I can’t wait to get my hands on this stuff, all of it. Now where’s my SANDMAN…I love some Flint Marko! Oh, and I await Spider-Man 3.
I have never actually seen a Medicom figure in person. It would be nice to see a pic of a SS figure next to a Medicom figure, just to get a better mental appreciation of the scale. I agree that Indiana Jones would be the perfect license for SS. I could only imagine how cool a 1/6th SS Indy would be. I’ll bet SS will improve their bodies in the future. There seems to be more and more SS fans asking for the change. I can’t wait to see the Star Wars Figures for this year! I hope there are some more “core” characters in the mix, especially a BESPIN Luke Skywalker, in complete fatigues, with his gun belt and blaster. A Hoth Han Solo, or a 12″ version of the PF Han, would be outstanding. I wonder if SS will ever make Chewbacca?
This is great news! I was hoping to see Medicom make figures for Sidey 3. Now the big question is going to be the price. Will this be in the X3 Wolverine range ($99) or the crazy Medi Clonetrooper range ($149). This will make all the difference of whether I get just one, none, or the whole set.

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Medicom Marvel figures are the BEST, and Venom is my favorite. This is too much, I don’t care how much i have to pay! I’m looking forward to these almost as much as the movie itself!

Hmmmm,looks ok,need to see more pics.I was really hoping for a 1/4 scale SPIDER-MAN with switchable heads,one of SPIDEY,the other of TOBEY MAGUIRE as PETER PARKER.I also would love a 1/4 scale JAMES DEAN in his REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE ensemble.C’mon SIDESHOW,put a smile on my face,I’m a loyal customer.Happy New Year!

The Rah figures are awesome, and I hope we can look for some 12 inch stuff from Sideshow with this new license. It is great to see Sideshow off to such a great start for the new year. I agree that we really are going to need a Sandman, I hope that is coming too. Yea, I do believe I see Venom peeking through in the back

I knew we’d be getting a figure from Medicom to coincide with the release of Spider-Man 3 but I never expected three figures.

Don’t worry Indy Jones fans. Sideshow will get the license to do 12″ Indy figures and as usual, they will rule. Regarding the Medicom RAH figures, they are pricey though I would pay for some of them only if they were not so much smaller than other 12″ or 1:6 scale figures including that of Sideshow. I would like to see Sideshow distribute some Takara stuff ie; Batman Begins 12″ figures which are overpriced and limited to too small an edition size. Too late for Batman though. They are gone unless you want to pay 250.00 to $300.00 The upside, they are not small like the Medicom RAH figures. Most of you will be very dissapointed in the size of your Medicom RAH Clonetroopers when you get them though you will be impressed with the tightness of the joints, articulation, detail and likeness. I would like to see Sideshow incorporate a body that has tighter joints. Granted they are collectibles yet but they are poseable as they have joints. Since they have joints it is understood that we will be from time to time posing our collectibles in various positions, at least until the joints give.
These might actually convince me to start collecting Spider Man! There goes the budget!

I completely agree on the Indiana Jones and Pirates front. Medicom made a great Jack Sparrow, but he’s a bit pricey, and the only way to get a decent Indy is to pay $500 bucks for a Toys McCoy version. Some guys have done some great customs but those aren’t cheap either. C’mon Sideshow, we really really need a great Indiana Jones figure. And Neo.

Still a shame they never got around to distributing the Batman Begins, or Superman Returns stuff from Hot Toys. How cool would the Medicom Spidey and Wolverine look sharing shelf space with Supes, and Bats.
I’m hoping they can improve the webbing on the black outfit. It has more of a silver tone on film. Actually the webbing has always been metallic on the red suit in the films as well. What gives?

I was kind of hoping Sideshow would make their own 12″ Spidey figures! Oh well, I like Medicom stuff too, even though it’s not cheap! Looking forward to seeing more of these figures.
Isn’t this kind of cheating? I was under the impression that this was supposed to be a new license, not just a distribution deal. Ah Sideshow, we’ve come a long way, but you’ve finally let me down. I’m still holding out hope for a better new license announcement later on – keeping my fingers crossed for Pirates of the Carribean or Indiana Jones.
