The Robocop flight pack version is probably the best of the lot, although I would like to see some more stuff from the t.v. series like pudface morgan and a Robocop figure with 2 thigh holsters, and maybe bone machine from the mini series.
i want to buy the robocop toy
I received mine two days ago and just barely opened the box. The packaging is really nice. I wich they would have used heavier carton. Hot Toys used the metallic printing (I forgot the printing process name)…but everything is well packaged. The only problem I have is with the loose feet where the ball of feet is located, can be tighter…but he stands up just fine. I haven’t installed the jet pack yet…I wanna stand him next to ED-209 this weekend. It’s a great buy! I actually cancelled my Robocop 3 order after I heard about this version back in November ’06.
True, it was lame for Sideshow to offer their “excluive” version with gunarm before this was announced, but this figure is still extremely worth it. I got mine from China via eBay already. The jetpack alone is incredible. A previous commenter wished for a removable visor. Guess what- though not advertised, this one features a removable visor, chin guard, and back of head plate to reveal a fully detailed head. The likeness on the face isn’t great, but the mechanical detail is sweet.
I got mine today, very glad i didn’t get the previous versions, all i can say is this one’s the robocop of all robocops!!!very happy!!
That is a very cool looking Robocop, not my cup of tea, but it does look great. I can’t get them all anyway and I am sure that there are some very excited people to see this. Congrats to those who have been waiting for this, and thanks for expanding our world a bit more Sideshow.
I would like to see more of the villians instead of just different interpretations of Robocop.
I like Robocop, but the jet pack was a ridiculous idea. In fact, Robocop 3 was a terrible movie IMO.
I’d like to see the main villain from the first RoboCop – Clarence. The guy who plays Red on that 70′s Show. Give the Sawed off Shotgun and the .50 Cal sniper Rifle. He was a great villain.
Now this is what I wanted from the start. When the two version of Robocop 1-2 and 3 were up before, I only settled with the First version as I didn’t find any reason to waste any money on a similar model with just an additonal gun-arm. But the rocket-pack is what makes Robocop 3 special, I’m going to buy it. I’d also like to see a Cain-cyborg, and some additional charachters from the other Robocop-series as well.
The way that HOT TOYS is making the ALIENS: COLONIAL MARINES line, we will probably see Officer Murphy, Officer Lewis, and a RoboCop with removable visor.
When I first saw this offered on Hot Toys’ site I had the same thought…why didn’t they just make a Robocop that could be displayed as version 1, 2 or 3? The jetpack and gun arm make this interesting, even though the movie itself could have been better. I may have to break down and get this one, though.
What we really need is the CAIN robot! Now that really WOULD be worthy of being called a ‘movie masterpiece’. I hope it’s already on the way!
I’d like a plain ole Officer Murphy figure
Wow. I now wish that I had not ordered the Sideshow exclusive gun-arm version. True, the third film was the weakest of the lot but I would much rather have gotten the version with the most goodies.
I wonder how much more this fella will be compared to the other two versions because I’ll be really bummed if it is the same price.
ok ok, robocop three was the cheesiest movie of the lot, do we get ninja robots next? How about ROBOCOP, ford tarus driver? I’d love a robocop from the second film, holding a nice braincase from the back of a drug addicted villian: )
