I have to say, I feel like I’m in the “chump” category. I missed preordering the first piece and then went to great lengths to find it. Since it was such a low quantity, this is good news for those who missed out, and I certainly don’t feel like I need a second PF Buffy, but it would have been nice to know that an “improved” version with adjustments was coming down the pike. Hindsight 20 x20, eh?
Upon seeing more pictures of the figure it’s clear that there are some problems. Her outfit for one is a big one. The top she’s wearing doesn’t go well with her pants. The pants somehow looks very odd depending on the angle. Her eye brows are too thick and her pose doesn’t fit with her outfit (if that makes sense)
I missed out on the first PF Buffy so if i’m going to buy this one the problems need to be fixed also including the lazy eye that the first suffered from. It’s alot of money to be paying for something that’s not upto standards
This figure was a big surprise. The head looks GREAT, but the outfit needs work. First, the pants are too baggy. Second, it would be nice to have a different shirt because this shirt is essentially the top half of the first PF Buffy’s dress. It just doesn’t seem like much effort was put into the outfit. Overall, I like the figure, but there is definitely room for improvement.
P.S. The left eye of many of the original PF Buffy figures was looking too far to the side. Could you guys make an effort to prevent this problem this time around?
i completely missed the first pf buffy, but this is one nice looking piece so far, can’t wait for the rest : )
I wasn’t expecting another PF Buffy so soon. I was hoping it’d be an Angel PF or one of the 12″ figures. I feel sorry for those who bought the first PF Buffy because they spent alot of money when another has just been made.
I think i will be buying her because i didn’t get the chance on the first PF Buffy so that’s a good thing i guess. She looks like she’s got the sculpt of Hush Buffy or Graduation Day Buffy, i can’t really tell. Looking forward to seeing more pics of her. So far i think she looks good and more in character. Love the hair here too
I agree with Crammit, our first PF Buffy was not perfect, and the fact that we’re getting an “improved” version kind of makes me feel bad (and yeah, kind of stupid) for having got the first version, which I love, don’t get me wrong. I was expecting a PF Angel or a new Angel 12 inch figure, this sure was a huge surprise, but so far, not a good one, let’s wait and see the whole statue, the exclusive accesory, and I’ll decide. Bring on another 12 inch figure soon please.

I’m really sad about this. Same sculpt, different hairstyle, but with pants. The fact that this is a better-looking version of the piece I already own does little to make me feel better. And no sign of an Angel PF? What’s up?

Another Buffy PF so soon? I wasn’t anticipating this (but I’m not complaining either)! I can’t wait to see more pictures! This Buffy might be a better match for the Spike PF anyway!

WOW! I love the first Buffy PF and am stoked about this one too. I love Sideshow and if they keep this up I’ll need to get another job or live in a tent. Keep up the good work boys!! I’ve bought alot of their PF products along with their bust…whew!
