I doubt that the people who posted above complaining or saying they are not interested would be even more upset if this was an actual Palpatine figure and was a SDCC exclusive. One of the things I liked most about the original SW when I was a kid, were the odds and ends, but they were never made into toys. I hope you guys do an accessory pack with Death Star stuff, like the floating torture droid, Mouse droid, rifle rack with stormtrooper rifles and other cool stuff like that. A Hoth or Bespin accessory pack would be cool too. Thanks again SS, keep up the great work. I just hope this priority pre-order goes alot smoother than the Episode IV Obi-wan.
I appreciate that you’re not just giving us twenty versions of the same four or five main characters, but rather you’re providing the true collector with the opportunity to recreate some beloved scenes with intricate and original pieces. The Jabba and throne are the centrepiece of my entire Star Wars collection and I can’t wait to pose Darth Maul with this Holographic Darth Sidious with Mechno-chair or a possible future droid or wookie with the holo chess table.
Nice, but would rather have other non-holographic main characters first.

It would be cool to see this guy lit up. Outstanding accessory though. It would look great with some Sideshow designed Clone Troopers…Bly, Cody? Please…

Of all the Side Show Comic Con Exclusives this is the one that captured my attention. I want it. I just hope I can afford it!
finally, something of Darth Sidious. You guys don’t dissapoint. Can’t wait for the official 12″ Sidious/Palpatine. Please make it with the red office robes from the Mace fight.
Another great piece from SS….still waiting for the R2D2 and C3P0. Don’t care if it’s the 1/6th or the 12″ or the full scale lines!! When will SS show us the next ones???????
I haven’t seen him in person, but I’d guess the figure is a 1/6 scale representation of the scenes where Sidius was projected from a robotic walking holoprojector. He’s not quite full size himself, but with the mechanical device he’ll be approximately the same height as the other figures in the line. Anyone who’s seen it in person feel free to contribute, refute, whatever. I’m just guessing based on what I remember vaguely from the movie.

This is perfect for an exclusive. Something people won’t need, but is still a cool item. If they had a NEW figure it would have probably turned out rushed. Unless it was just a ‘repaint’. Atleast they’re not like Gentle Giant and their clone busts.

Interesting choice, the price would have to be pretty low, assuming it’s a pretty small piece. This IS along the lines of the chess set right? more of an accesory piece?

Looks nice, but I would prefer a regular Sidious figure as well. Think I’ll pass on this one. Not really worth trying to get through a crashing server for this one.

Wow, it truly does not get better than this. I have some prototypes of older Sidious’s released. This is great with a lot of detail. Gotta love that Fog Green colour.

O.k. now its 4 posts this evening but after I took my happy pill, who’s counting right??? So stoked that your offering this. Perhaps this might go well with a possible Nute Gunray and Rune Haako? And I might say this is actually a more faithful version of Sidious than the life-like version because during Ep.1 most of his scenes were via holograph anyway. Only one, during a Coracasant scene, sticks out to me that he wasn’t in some type of holographic “phantom” form. Saaayyy, couldn’t Sideshow throw me a holographic Maul to stand next to him? I’m sure I’ll get the regular version of Sidious in due time but the chances of me getting the Holo-walker would be better this way.
