I dont mean to add flames to the B- fest, but tis sux!!!! I did the same as above and even took the day off from work to order this puppy, you really think there are going to be canceled orders? No way I am still on wait list for the first one. There were not enough of these made!! Even the star Wars stuff doesnt sell out this fast, most of wich will probally end up on e-bay………

THE FIRST DISASTER IVE HAD WITH SIDESHOW. WENT ON RIGHT AT 10, SAID IT WASNT TAKING ORDERS YET, WENT AT IT AGAIN, SAID IT WASNT TAKING ORDERS. THEN GOT THROUGH, CLICKED PURCHASE, PAGE SENT ME BACK TO A NOT TAKING ORDERS YET AND THEN A SOLD OUT PAGE. GONE IN 4 MINUTES AND THE SIDESHOW WEBSITE CHEATED ME OUT OF MY LAST FAIR CHANCE AT THEIR IRON MAN STATUE. F- EXPERIENCE AND F- ON TOO LOW OF A PRODUCTION RUN. SIMILAR TO DEALINGS IVE HAD WITH GENTLE GIANT…
EDITION SIZE IS 1250. friggin’ thing sold out in under 8 minutes!!!

I pre-ordered at San Diego Comic-con also and I also have the paperwork to prove it. But they won’t be on ebay for quite some time. We all have to wait around six months or so o get them but I have no intention of selling – I’m an insane,true Ironman fan and I wants my precious!

No, the $6,000.00 bronze figure was Gandalf, and I hope that the edition size fair. But like everything else, the opportunist will buy and sell for triple + the price on ebay. So sad for the true collector. Good Luck Marvel fans!!!!! Now, where’s Batman?

I think todd is trying to fool us. I thought that they were just showing it off at COMIC CON. I don’t think people were able to pre-order it. Don’t be greedy and try to fool us, besides, we all know most people are just going to get it to sell it on ebay, instead of giving us true collectors the opportunity to get our hands on one.

This is just awesome.
Sure, the Cinemaquette pieces are awesome – real human hair and realistic silicone face sculpt – but who can afford $1500.00?!! I think I’ll stick with affordable Sideshow premium figures! The latest Star Wars 1/4 scale figure (scout and speeder) is awesome and, priced at $800.00, your’re getting both a vehicle and figure for almost half of what you would pay for just a figure thru Cinemaquette! I’m sure Sideshow has evaluated the pros and cons of the silicone sculpt and opted for the poly resin due to cost and durability of the material.
I hope you guys do around captain america exc. edition size numbers for this one that would be a good amount with everyone getting a chance at one then.
Me too, I’m a bit concerned about the availability of this piece for those that could not make it to the Con. How can you make sure that real collectors, your customers SSC, get their hands on one of the Stealth Iron Man comiquettes, without increasing the edition size to an absurd level? I just sit tight and wait for PPO day. What else can I do?

With all the slobbering geek flippers at the ComicCon hoping to artificially inflate the market and turn a quick ebay profit, I can only hope that Sideshow has the wisdom to implement a policy to ensure that those customers who have spent thousands of dollars on their products are not shafted. I would suggest not adding 400-500 pieces to whatever was sold at the Con, and then enacting a $100 cancellation penalty. Do not go the Gentle Giant route please. They are the worst company for customer service. If SS does allow this to become a flipper fiasco, I will spend my high end/PF $ with Cinemaquette from here on.

Just when you think Sideshow was HAPPY with giving us the greatest Iron Man available, they go and bring this amazing new version to the table. Amazing looking piece of art there gang. I hope I can manage to snag one of these bad boys, though I may have to do a little slight of hand with my stack of chips to pull it off. Wow, where to look next, it just keeps getting better.
