Sideshow Collectibles Catches The Spirit Of Halloween With Product From
Upcoming Halloween-themed Horror Film
Thousand Oaks, California (July 2007) - Premier manufacturer of licensed merchandise, Sideshow Collectibles will be releasing a line of product for Warner Brother's new Halloween film release Trick 'r Treat, set to release on October 5, 2007. Sideshow will release a 15-inch vinyl figure based on the film's central character, Sam, which will retail for approximately $54.99.
Trick 'r Treat marks the directorial debut of Superman Returns writer Mike Dougherty, and is comprised of four interwoven stories all taking place on the same mysterious Halloween night. The holiday tales share a terrifying lesson on the dangers of forgetting the true evils of All Hallows Eve and the spirit of Halloween. While little is known about the central character, Sam, he appears as a small boy with his head covered by a burlap sack and clad in footy-pajamas.

I’m really curious about the other figures in the line. I’ve been highly anticipating Trick ‘r Treat, as it’s been far too long since a horror anthology made it to theaters.
I just watched the trailer… AWESOME!!! The preview reminds me of the “Creep Show” movies of the 80′s. The last thing I want to do is start another collection, but this figure is too cool to pass up!! I would like to see something more about the line before I put my pre-order for the first figure in… hint, hint…
One of the coolest new products I’ve seen from Sideshow in a while. Can’t wait!!!
Why are you wasting our time with this when you still havn’t done a PF of the real king of Halloween…Michael Myers!?!?!?
Lock yourselves in your little workshops and don’t come out until you get it done!!!
Something new this way comes. I look forward to seeing anything cool added to the Horror lines. This movie sounds like it will be right up there among the best of it’s genre. And from what I can see of the figure, it looks like another great addition to the Sideshow line-up as well. Thanks for all you do gang, you all rock!
This could be cool, I think the trailer gives off a Halloween (the movie) and Monster Squad kind of vibe.
