Review: Just received him today and overall I think he’s absolutely great. The only thing I think is kinda cheesy is the stand’s design. The poll that bolts into the baseplate is plastic, and the fastening bolt for it is metal. When assembling the bolt will strip the inside of the pole just hand tightening it too much. I’ve already learned it’s better to have the pole a little lose and also pull the “scissor arms” open as they come VERY tight. If you leave the arms that hold around Sam’s waist factory tight it will easily tear his fleece PJs. The pole doesn’t have to be solidly fastened as Sams legs do most of the holding, the pole just supports him upright.To get as much of the film’s look they also had to be real light on the mask’s stitching… you have to be light with it when removing the mask. The eyes (buttons) are held on by 1 small stitch and the mouth is similarly done with a single strand of thread. Just make sure you don’t snag it on anything or it’ll pull out easily. He’s a display piece so I’m sure not too many people plan on using it for a play doll He’s awesome

i just got my figure in and i couldn’t be happier!SAM is one of the best horror icons i have seen in a while. just got the book on him and i must say the story is great!!!! Can’t wait to see the movie! looks great! Nice work sideshow and a round of applause to Michael Dougherty!!!!!!!!!!

Cool and super-creepy looking! I have high hopes for this movie - it’s always great to see a decent movie about Halloween ON Halloween. Doesn’t happen very often. Seeing this figure makes me even more hopeful.
