    Just got my Gimli figure – the pictures do not do it justice! I liked what I ordered – I’m astounded at what I got. The detailing is amazing – you guys at SSC are the best!

    I hear you Steve and I’m sure Sideshow do too. This maquette range is a beauty and hopefully those who like these lesser figures keep jumping in and snapping them up so that Sideshow clears enough to risk even 3 more Hobbit’s in the MIGHTY PF range!!!

    What’s the matter, Sideshow? Nobody there able to do a PF Gimli? Too much detail in the costume for you? Too many axes? This is better than nothing but you need to man-up and put out a PF. I think most of us would pay a little more (than the average PF) to get a PF of this very complicated character that we could proudly display next to our other LOTR PF’s. Am I right, guys?

    The lack of expression on Gimli’s face is a perfect reflection of the character as based on the movies. Gimli showed little to no emotion while in battle and one has to simply re-watch the movies to see that is true.

    Thanks SS for giving us another fellowship member. And the Exclusive is great IMO. As the 2 heads are a nice addition you can only display one of them so this ex is way better.Gimli i’ll be up in the night to pre-order you ! !

    DEAR SSC I’am have been a huge and dedicated fan of your products for many many years(mainy your L,O,T,R,line).I have allways bought direct from you for the past 7+yrs.I FIRST SEEN YOUR PRODUCTS ON E-BUCKET (#OOP’S SORRY I MEEN E-BAY).ANYWAY THE FIRST ITEM I HAD SEEN (i think it was gandalf on shadowfax) JUST KNOCKED ME OUT AND IT MADE BY “WELL NONE OTHER THAN YOUR EXPERT TEAM” this was the first time i had heard of SIDESHOW/WETTA as it was known then. IT WAS ONLY THEN THAT I DECIDE TO GO DIRECT TO SIDESHOW AND LOOK AT THE ITEMS YOU HAD THAT INTERSED ME THE MOST . WHEN I SEEN WHAT L.O.T.R. ITEMS YOU HAD THAT TIME . THAT WAS WHEN I CHOSE TO COME OUT OF THE DARK AND IN TO THE LIGHT (you could say). I NOW BUY ALL OF MY ITEMS DIRECT FROM YOU AND I HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK .     This LOTR line is the best. Characters are so close too the real ones,the detail and weathering looks gr8. Gimli, is my favourite one. Dear Thorm u r so right about Aragon’s PF.

    At last GIMLI ! I will wait for the long awaited PF anyway but I can’t miss this one and from what I see on the home page of Theonering.net (ad) I’d say his face is much better than most of the human characters already made by Sideshow.
    For example, I bought Aragorn’s PF and it’s definitely not him.
    Anyway thanks for this one Sideshow.

    After a 5 year wait…finally, our first Gimli representation. Can’t wait for the full reveal on Tues. With a much faster production schedule and outstanding likenesses, clearly the maquette line is THE line for LOTR fans to be collecting.

    I met John Ryhs Davis in `o8, and he was really a nice guy.
    This statue of Gimli looks great and with lots of detail.
    Would like to see Gimli in the premium format…PLEASE?? :o )

    GIMLI, at long last!!! Still waiting for the Dwarf to get PF treatment, but until then this looks like a winner. I wish it could have been a posable 12″ figure to help finish the Fellowship, but no complaints here. Can’t wait to see the full reveal.
