PRODUCT AVAILABLE TO NON-ATTENDEES
Will the items be available to international as well as U.S. collectors?
A portion of our Comic-Con editions will be available for pre-order to Non-Attendees, which includes both U.S. based and international collectors. If you will be ATTENDING the San Diego Comic-Con, you may order from the Attendee allotment, for pick up at the show. Click here for more info for Attendees.
How many of each edition will be available to Non-Attendees?
At least 10% of each edition size is set aside for Non-Attendees; however, that percentage may change at our discretion depending on the individual license involved. Our Comic-Con Exclusive edition sizes include both Attendee and Non-Attendee allotments to make up the total number available, which will be posted on each Attendee & Non-Attendee product pages.
Will the items be available through International Distributors?
A portion of the Comic-Con exclusives MAY be available through international distributors. You will need to check with your local shop for their availability. The Comic-Con Exclusives are only available for purchase within the U.S. through SideshowCollectibles.com.
Will the final edition size include the Non-Attendee allotment and distributor allotment (if any)?
The final edition size includes all the items available in any channel of distribution and will be posted on both the Attendee and Non-Attendee product pages.
PLACING AN ORDER AS A NON-ATTENDEE
How do I place an order?
Generally we have at least 10% of all edition sizes set aside for Non-Attendees (people not going to the show) on a first-come, first-serve basis. These items will be sold via our Priority Pre-order service, so if you are not familiar with this service please click here for more information. There is a Priority Pre-Order schedule posted on our 2011 Comic-Con Exclusives Announcement Page. Visit our site on the specified dates and times to place your order for each exclusive.
How will the Non-Attendee allotment be made available to customers?
All of our Con Exclusives will be available via Priority Pre-Order. At the time pre-orders begins, you can place your order via our online system or by phone at (855) SIDESHOW.
Is the Non-Attendee allotment open to both international and U.S. collectors?
Yes, the Non-Attendee allotment is open to both U.S. as well as international customers, while supplies last, as long as these customers are not also purchasing Attendee items for pick up at the event.
How can I pay for my exclusives?
You will need to reserve an item with a credit card, in your own name, such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card or American Express. If you would like to use a money order (in U.S. funds) as final payment, we must receive it by July 8th, 2011. If you choose to pay by money order, you must first contact us so that we can give you the final order total, which will include the shipping cost and any applicable taxes (import fees charged by your government are not included). Please remember that if you are a resident of California and your order is shipping to a California address, then 8.25% CA state and city sales tax applies to your order. International residents will be responsible to pay all applicable import fees & taxes to your government's customs office. Import fees are NOT included in the final cost. Can I order multiples of the exclusives?
You will only be allowed to purchase one (1) of each exclusive item. (1 per customer, household, credit card, user account and/or billing/shipping address. Choose either Attendee or Non-Attendee, not both.) All phone orders and online orders will be compared, and multiple orders for the same items will be automatically canceled without further notification. Any customers placing orders through multiple accounts will have excess orders canceled at the time of processing without notification.
Why are the prices different for Non-Attendee collectors?
The prices posted on the Attendee pre-order pages are special SHOW PRICES, valid only for orders picked-up at the San Diego Comic-Con. Items made available to Non-Attendees are offered at the regular price, which includes the cost of order processing, packing and handling of the product. Non-Attendees will also be responsible for shipping fees and any applicable taxes / VAT / import fees on their shipment.
Your site is telling me I have already purchased this item. What is going on?
The exclusive items have a limit of one (1) piece per product line, per customer. If you are receiving this message then you have already ordered your limit of this item, or someone who shares your credit card, billing address, shipping address, or e-mail address has already placed an order for the item, or you have already placed a pre-order for an Attendee edition of the same item. Please contact our Customer Service Department if you have any questions.
I have a coupon / Sideshow Rewards points. Can I use it on these items?
Due to the unique and limited nature of these items, coupons, Gift Cards, and Sideshow Rewards points cannot be redeemed on any Comic-Con Exclusives. If the system does allow a coupon / Sideshow Rewards or any other discount, please note that any discount will be removed prior to processing your order. (Please be assured that Reward Points will still be EARNED for all orders.)
Will FLEXPay be made available for any of the Comic-Con Exclusives?
FLEXPay may be made available to select NON-ATTENDEE exclusives during the Priority Pre-Order. If FLEXPay is available, you will see a FLEX option presented during the Non-Attendee pre-ordering event for that item. For these select Non-Attendee exclusives, collectors will have the choice of using a FLEXPay option. FLEXPay allows collectors to make affordable monthly payments on a pre-set schedule, rather than all in one payment. Please note: If you choose this option and then decide to cancel your FLEXPay order, you will be charged a cancellation fee. (Cancellation fees do not apply to single-payment pre-orders.) INVOICE AND DELIVERY
When will my credit card be charged for the item(s)?
Your card will be charged for the item(s) between July 11th and July 15th, 2011. You will be e-mailed an invoice once the order has been processed.
Will I be charged taxes, customs duties, and/or Import Fees?
Please expect to have 8.25% CA state and city sales tax included in the final price IF you are having your collectible shipped to a California address. International customers should expect to pay applicable import fees & taxes to the carrier directly either upon shipment or via a bill afterwards. Import fees & taxes are NOT included in your order costs. Specific shipping fees are NOT included in the price that appears on your Order Confirmation screen or e-mail. Please contact our Customer Service Department for a more accurate shipping quote.
What happens if my credit card declines?
If your payment method declines, you will be contacted via e-mail and have only two (2) days (48 hours) to contact us, during our business hours Monday through Friday, with another form of payment. If we do not receive another payment method within that time, your order will be canceled without further notice and your item(s) will be offered to a Wait List member. We will not be responsible for non-receipt of decline notices due to multiple e-mail addresses that you have given to us, invalid e-mail addresses, or delays / spam blocks from your server/host/personal computer.
When will my Non-Attendee order ship?
U.S. and International orders will begin shipping on approximately July 13th. Please allow up to 14 business days for delivery. You will receive tracking information via e-mail once the item has left our warehouse, which allows you to track your shipment to your home. Please note: If you choose to purchase your Non-Attendee Exclusive(s) using our FLEXPay option, your item(s) will not ship until after all payments have been processed.
How will my order be shipped?
If you are a Non-Attendee, U.S.-based customer, your order will ship via FedEx or UPS, depending on your preference. If you are a Non-Attendee International customer, your order will ship via FedEx International. Items will ship in brown cardboard boxes. If multiple Con Exclusives are ordered, then please expect them to ship separately.
Where will it be shipped from, the U.S. or EU warehouse?
All U.S. and International, including EU, Non-Attendee orders will ship from the U.S. warehouse.
Can my orders be combined, so the items ship together?
Unfortunately, we cannot consolidate any Comic-Con exclusive items together due to the method of ordering and shipment.
WHEN CON EXCLUSIVES SELL OUT
I have gone to the ordering page but the listing says sold out?
If the page is marked as sold out, then the allotment for the Non-Attendees is completely reserved. We may be taking a Wait List, so that we can offer product that returns back to inventory, from credit card declines, cancellations or non-pick up at the show, to collectors who missed the initial opportunity to purchase an item. If there is a Wait List open, we suggest signing up as soon as possible, as reservations are fulfilled on a first come, first served basis.
How do I sign up for the exclusive Wait List?
When the Non-Attendee allotment sells through, you will see this page change to accept a Wait List reservation. Click on the red Wait List button and proceed as you would in placing an order; however you are only placing a reservation for any items in your cart. Remember, this is not a guaranteed order. Once your Wait List reservation is placed, you will receive a confirmation number (both on screen and in an e-mail) that begins with a W instead of a T, such as W123456. Wait lists are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. If any product should become available you will receive e-mail notification. For more information on Wait Lists, click here.
Is the Wait List open to both International and U.S. collectors?
Yes, the Non-Attendee Wait List is open to both U.S. as well as International customers who did not yet purchase the exclusive product. We will also be comparing the list of collectors who purchased items at the show as an Attendee with the names on the Non-Attendee Wait List. Those collectors who received product at the event and are on the Non-Attendee Wait List will have their Wait List reservations canceled without further notice.
How do I know that you received my Wait List reservation?
Your screen and e-mail confirmation (with W confirmation number) are proof that we did receive your request. You can also view your W reservation in the order history area of your online user account.
Can you tell me where I am on the Wait List?
Unfortunately, we cannot tell you your place in line on the Wait List, as this is only relevant to the amount of product that becomes available through cancellations and declines. Your W confirmation number is also not an indication of where you are located on any Wait List, as numbers are assigned in order for every purchase on our site, including all Wait List requests.
If my Attendee order is canceled when I don't pick it up at the show, will I automatically qualify first for the Non-Attendee Wait List?
No. If your Attendee order is canceled, you will NOT be automatically added to the the Non-Attendee Wait List. The cost of your order will be refunded to your credit card, and the item will be offered to those already on the Non-Attendee Wait List. You can then manually sign up on the Non-Attendee Wait List, if it is still open.
Where does product come from to fulfill the Wait List?
Wait List product comes from canceled orders, credit card declines and double-booked orders that violate our item order restrictions, as well as items not picked up or sold at the show.
At what point do we presume we will not have our reservations recalled from the Wait List?
We will begin recalling Wait Lists throughout the months of June and July, and continue into August, should any items remain. Please expect most items to be filled to the Wait List up to 30 days after the show. It is possible that Wait Lists will remain open for up to a year after the show to account for manual inventory discoveries in our warehouse.
Can I get the product from an International distributor?
This MAY be possible. However, we cannot give you direct information about the individual shops or clients of each distributor. Therefore you would need to check with your local shop for stock.
Are these pieces numbered?
1:6th Scale / 12-inch and smaller figures are not numbered. Polystone items are generally, but not always, numbered with the specific edition number on the bottom of their display bases.
I want a specific edition number. How can I get it?
We do not guarantee that customers will receive specific edition numbers. The edition numbers will instead be sent out on a first-come, first-serve basis. The edition numbers are sent from our warehouse at random. We will NOT exchange higher edition numbered pieces for lower numbered items, so please do not ask.
What are the edition sizes and what kind of accessories do they come with?
