    To my previous comment that this should be $750 due to it’s small size, add $200 for th extra portrait and stand and you have $950 as what it should cost. Even the life-size bust is 2 inches taller than this and has an almost half-cost retail.

    Take away the base and tghe predator itself is only approximately 25 inches tall! Given there is an inordinate amount of detail, with the newly announced Elder Predator at 16.5 inches also without base, for 1.5 times the size, and twice the detail, the price should only be 2.5 times that of the Elder Predator. Which is $299 x 2.5. $750. Not $2,000! And then you have Darth Maul, which is mostly fabric with a scaled bust fot the same cost? Where’s the fairness?

    Oh gods! How am I going to hide THIS one from my husband?! It’s my own money I’m spending but he still complains. He’s already getting suspicious when he keeps coming across a new SS piece he’s never ‘noticed’ before. I’ve got an Undead on the kitchen counter, an Alien in the dining room, BIG Chap Alien in the living room and others tucked away in other rooms. How do I hide a Wolf Predator?? Help!

    All the LSF’s are between 35 to 40 inches. The life size bust are only 26 inches so this will be twice the size (height) of the 501st clone trooper bust. 40 inches is 3 1/2 feet so it is 1:2 scale since 1:1 would be abou 6 foot. Cost is appropriate as the life size statues went for $5000

    This looks amazing but already buying Dutch Scaffer PF and the Predator statue to match I have my fix. Plus you truly have to absolutely love the franchise to spend the $$$$$ required to get a LSF.

    For those that saw this at SDCC, it is far from half scale. It’s cool and all, but doesn’t tower above other statues like the Star Wars ones did. Even Wolverine seemed like he had more bulk to him. I think it may be smaller because they’re putting more into the detail of the outfit. The price is the price, it sucks if it’s out of reach and you want every Predator piece, but complaining in the comments isn’t going to change anything. I completely agree that you have to strongly consider if you want 5-6 premium formats or one LSF.

    making the statues so expensive will just lead to lifetime in stock, collectors may also look for alternative such as custom made wich sometimes much better and very affordable.. another thing dont let customers wait too much..

    Looks amazing just as the LSF Darth Maul. 40 inches tall is great but being 1:2 scale for $2,000 would defintly sale out this item during pre order. Plenty of Darth Mauls left at $2,000. For the price it needs to be bigger. As for the detail, the detail semi justicies the price on this baby.

    Looks BAD ASS from here.As we all know the Legendary Scale Figures come in at Half Scale and the Price Tag is usually between $1800-$2000.And that’s a Fact Jack.
    But the question is,will Sideshow make this True Half Scale to the over 7′ Tall Predator.I don’t think so.

    Firstly, this is a want, and not a need. The price tag is whatever has been proven to be accurate in the past. They might not sell out right away, but almost everything eventually does. This is going to be a high qaulity piece with a lot a man hours and skill put into it. I have to see it in person before I buy it, but this may be my first 1/2 scale. If they ever make a Jason Freddy or Michael,then I buy two!

    To Michael L. Deptula: They do have love for it….SOME, the SHADOW Predator, the Danny Glover(MIKE) fights and kills. They have him here. 1/6 scale though. 11 inchs tall roughly…..but VERY COOL….best of all very AFFORDABLE. As far as for THESE types of collectables….I agree.

    This piece is awsome i love the realistic look of the predator and the pose of jumping on and over the alien, What would make this more epic than any other would be a 1/4 scale companion piece of the predalien in a dynamic looking and aggressive pose that would intersect with this statue to make a really intense battle scene.     If this is gonna cost 2000USD I guess I’ll just look at the pictures. Being that there are 26″ comiquettes that cost about 1/4 of that price I think I’ll skip this release just for being absolutely exagerated. I’m not saying the piece isn’t incredible because it truly is, but for 2000USD you can buy a whole lot of premium formats, legendary scale busts or comiquettes… sad.

    This is truly a sick piece…it is gorgeous!…at the expected price, no need for any exclusives…they seem to be exclusive enough!…I hope that we, as collectors, can afford them..a longer term flex pay plan is a great idea…also hope that Sideshow maintains the quality of their other lines and that those lines don’t suffer given this new scale. While I’m at it, please do an Alien piece,
    Legendary scale as an action pose…no sitting on perches or Big Chap posing…I want to feel the fear and see the intensity of the creature even if I won’t be able to afford it!!

    At first I thought “WOW” and it would be as big as the Predator Maquette I needed to sell. So was very keen to buy this… but then it seems the statue will be big but not the predator in itself. If I’m not mistaken there will be an exclusive with the Mask from photos of Comic-Con. Well let’s wait and see.

    Looks fantasic!!! All of the lengendary scale figures do but how does Sideshow expect people to pay for these. Yes flexpay is great but I bet this figure will b e well over 1,500. Please sideshow if you can make these affordable for your consistent buyers they will be successful but if they have a huge price tag how many do you guys plan to sell?     As nice as this looks, and as much as I want it….and I really want it….It is a bummer that Sideshow is doing very high end collectibles costing 2K or more. There’s no way I can afford this and I believe more than 80% of us collector can not afford this, unless SS decides to do a 10 month Flexpay or something….

    I love this piece but 2000 dollars is a lot of money, specially in this economy….
