    This figure looks impressive. There was no doubt in my mind that this would light up, it had to. My only problem with the piece is the pose. It should be the pose when Rinzler 1st meets Sam during disc wars, he pulls his identity disc, splits it in 2, and crouches at the same time. At that moment both discs in his hands are flat, parallel to the floor. This, in my opinion, is more of an iconic stance and very menacing. Either way, I’ll probably still be ordering this on Thursday. Great job SSC!

    Would’ve loved to have seen a Quorra on that acrylic sofa in 1/4 scale. Much more memorable character.

    One more thing. Some times I turn the lights low so I can see my Star Wars premium format Jedi and Sith figures with their light sabers on. Can you imagine buying a Tron figure from SIDESHOW and NOT HAVE IT LIGHT UP? That just sounds so wrong, b/c I’m talking about Sideshow. Come on Sideshow…GO ALL THE WAY!!! :-)

    It looks great. I too hope this statue lights up. Let’s be HONEST here. What type of movie is Tron if these characters do NOT light up…BORING. As a matter of fact, good guys and bad guys are identified by their BRIGHT BLUE, ORANGE, or WHITE colors. Please light him up to make him look legitimate. Tron is all about LIGHTS, GRAPHICS, and ACTION. It’s a statue, so all Sideshow has to worry about are the LIGHTS. Don’t mess this up, b/c I really want this statue.

    Nova, I think you’ll be hanging onto your cash. This photo appears to show him as only painted. Maquettes typically don’t go into that level of detail with light effects, etc. I’m in, however. This will go PERFECTLY next to the Electric Tiki statue of Rinzler’s “friend”.
