Product Backstory
Cobra Commander inspires undying loyalty in his soldiers. However, they wouldn't become part of the tremendous COBRA ranks if they didn't get results. While the standard "blueshirt" troopers are the backbone of Cobra Commander's army, the terrorist organization's leader has realized the importance of specialized training to meet specific needs. As he weaves his dangerous web across the globe, he needs troopers who not only endure the harsh environments they're placed in but use it to their advantage. Trained in desert survival and combat, Cobra Commander's Desert Ops Troopers wear tan uniforms to blend in with the whirling sands of the desert. By the time they are spotted, it's too late for their enemies. Thinking one step beyond that, Cobra Commander has even made sure to train a specialized group of these desert troopers as snipers to keep their experiments and treasures safe and their enemies at a safe distance.

sideshow has raised the bar with this one. the cobra infantry was always my favorite as a kid. the desert sniper is the best variant anyone could ask for, the weathering is fantastic. truly a must have in any cobra collection.
