Product Backstory
From their underground home in the sewers of New York City, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fight petty criminals, evil masterminds and even aliens. Trained by their sensei, Master Splinter, in the art of Ninjutsu, these anthropomorphic heroes are skilled ninja warriors. Though their activities remain unknown to society, they defend humanity from the dangers of the underworld.As a master of bojutsu and kobudo, Donatello's weapon of choice is his bo staff. Of the four brother turtles, he is touted as the scientific and brainy one, often doing repairs and inventing new devices. Donatello's pacifist ideals clash with his life as a Ninja warrior, and he often retreats from the group to contemplate this internal conflict. Level headed and calm tempered, Donatello is both a quiet leader and a loyal steward of the Ninja Turtles.
