Product Backstory
"I'm not what you think I am."Once considered one of the most vile and merciless vampires in history, Angel terrorized humanity as the demonic Angelus for more than a century. But when he preyed on a young gypsy woman, Angelus was cursed with a soul and condemned to live for eternity plagued by the guilt of his evil transgressions. Knowing that he can never be truly happy again, Angel is left to wander the world in limbo.
A century later, Angel crosses paths with the Slayer - Buffy Summers - on the Hellmouth in Sunnydale, California. His existence is forever changed as Angel and Buffy share a passionate but doomed love affair, fighting together against the many evils of the Hellmouth. Yet, he knows that any hint of true happiness will return him to the monster Angelus, as the gypsy's curse commands. Unable to find peace or let go of his feelings for Buffy, Angel looks for a fresh start in Los Angeles, leaving a heartbroken Buffy and her friends to fight against the preternatural beings of the Hellmouth on their own.
