"Why do I get the feeling you'll be the death of me?"
- Obi-Wan Kenobi to Anakin Skywalker

With his dying breath, Master Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn entrusted the training of a small former slave named Anakin Skywalker to his accomplished Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Fulfilling Qui-Gon's last request, Obi-Wan took charge of young Ani and trained him in the honorable ways of the Jedi, peacekeepers and guardians of the galaxy. Anakin and Obi-Wan become the closest of friends, fighting side-by-sidethrough the darkest hours of the Clone Wars, their strength in the Force rivaled only by the power of the friendship. Little did they suspect the insidious machinations of Palpatine, and the seed of the Sith that lay germinating within the tortured soul of Anakin Skywalker.
