Product Backstory
The estranged father of renowned archaeologist Indiana Jones, Henry Jones Sr. is a professor of medieval literature and an avid researcher of the Holy Grail. Henry spends much of his life dedicated to locating the Grail's resting place, a pursuit that his son believes to be a maddening obsession.When wealthy industrialist Walter Donovan acquires a Grail tablet, Henry Jones joins him in his search for the Grail. He travels to Venice in search of the tomb of the Grail knight, and when he realizes that his new associate Elsa Schneider is a Nazi spy, Henry sends his Grail Diary to Indy in an attempt to keep its contents out of Nazi hands. Soon, Henry is captured and held as bait to lure Indy and the diary to their location at Castle Brunwald. Indiana Jones arrives with the diary only to join his father in Nazi custody, but the two soon escape and set out to recover the stolen Grail Diary and beat the Nazis to the Holy Grail's resting place.
