Product Summary
The long awaited addition to our Universal Monster line is finally in production! This 12" 'Creature from the Black Lagoon' figure is fully articulated and comprised of a film-accurate monster portrait, solid PVC hands, feet, and a rubber wet-suit. The construction of the wet-suit is nearly identical to the original, with separate upper and lower portions. The body section wet-suit will cover nearly all visible joint lines and stretch to allow for a strong range of posing options. The Creature will also include a fossilized 'Creature' hand in 1/6th scale, as well as a support base with 'The Creature from the Black Lagoon' film logo.

Creature Figure 12 inch-Colour Version
This has to be one of the best of the Sideshow releases.A highly detailed rendering of that denizen of the pitch dark depths.Talk about one up on the old Aurora Creature kit you had all those years ago.I saw an excellent article on placing Creature model figures into appropriate model settings,and subsequently did just that with this Sideshow version.A visit to the aquarium section of a large pet store yielded a model of an old log affair,sprouting various plants.I got other plastic plants and placed them around it,together with a couple of small rocks and a little realistic looking rubber snake.A dash of paint here and there to various parts of the setting and a Creature From the Black Lagoon logo and this terrific scene was set for my Sideshow Creature to reign over.The entire ensemble sits on a sturdy wooden green base.I hope what I've written here will spur other fans of the Creature and other Sideshow monsters on to creating appropriate settings for them.These splendid Sideshow figures deserve nothing less.
