Product Backstory

In the post-apocalyptic city Neo-Tokyo, Shotaro Kaneda is the brave and rebellious leader of The Capsules, a teenage motorcycle gang. When his childhood friend Tetsuo is discovered to have psychic abilities, Tetsuo's jealousy of Kaneda becomes clear as he starts to wield his abilities in dark ways. Their friendship is destroyed by Tetsuo's actions, but as Kaneda learns that he alone has the ability to hurt Tetsuo without aid, their lives remain intertwined, the once-companions turned enemies.
