i just got my statue and it is absolutely ammazing. i have all of the star wars figures and this one blows them away. i want 2 so i can display one in the basemnet and 1 upstairs. sideshow is the best.

Wow, I really can’t wait for this figure. I’ve wanted some decent Indy merch for years. I hope Sideshow make premium format Henry Jones Snr, Marcus (looking befuddled)& Sallah (w/fez from Last Crusade) I would be one chuffed collector with these in my display cabinets.
This look realistic, however I prefer the Raiders of the Lost Ark Indiana Jones 12″ inch figure.
Any news on when it’s shipping? Or when more 12″ inch figures are being made by Sideshow Collectibles? Great stuff by the way! Keep up the good work!

There was actually a loading page with a clock and indeed you did not have to hit refresh. In fact, hitting refresh would have made it even less likely that you would get through.
From what I have heard in the past, unless you are in the Sideshow site at precisely 1:00 Est, the system doesn’t always take you where you expect it to (i.e. to the loading page). Sorry about that.

No, the 12″ fig is already available for pre-order. It’s a cross-market advertisement while waiting for the PF to come out, there is also a 12″ figure out there.

hey Tim.. The premium format will be the normal 1/4th scale… that small photo in the corner is about ordering the 12″ figure that is also available..

Hey Sideshow, believe it or not, some people, including me are first time buyers of the premium format versions of your figures. To this day I still have no idea if the the premium figs have any articulation what-so-ever or if they are statues. I would have gotten the Premium Creature from the Black Lagoon in a heartbeat if I knew he could be taken off the pedestal and posed just standing up with both arms stretched out etc. Maybe in the future you could clarify that in the background info on the figs.
Yes, is the one to watch for. Still the price is good to know but in this case it will sell out now matter what price tag. I will be watching the clock very closely to place the order quickly.

I want to make sure that I get to the premium format Indy right at 10:00 am. I have never used the priority ordering but am a newsletter subscriber and have an active account, so I believe that is all taken care of. My question is where is the page I need to go to, to order this premium statue? I’m afraid I’m going to get lost and not find it fast enough to place my order and miss out
less than 15hrs to go until ordering time. I am losing my mind and running out of tranquilizers. I’m not messing around with sideshow dollars on this one. I can always use them on another order. I’m sure there’s more Indy stuff coming. COME ON 10 AM!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU 10 am!!??

Joey – I feel your anxiety, Man! The only solace is knowing that one of the most recent Star Wars PF PPOs – Anakin Skywalker – which also has an alternate head sculpt, is 299.99. Of course, we all know how much the 12 inch Indy will set us back! Hope for the best, bro!

You should probably put the pictures of the figure up now. Youre the only one that doesnt have the pictures of Indy available, and at this point, I can find picts all over the net. Again this is a great looking figure, but I hope you don’t alienate your true sideshow followers with a high/greedy price tag. As Han would say, “I got a bad feeling about this!!”
I am with LegendsOfBatman. Hell, I’m still going to buy these figures, but I am reluctant as the prices are so high, especially the 12″! $90?! Come on Sideshow! I know what you’re saying: “your still going to buy it anyway!” which you are right in some respects, but with a company like this the reputation is definitely going to change if the price continue to increase. I know collectors that use to buy these figures by the bulk, but now are only going to buy 1 or 2 because it’s just not worth it! SideShow, it you keep up the excellent work then you might (I mean MIGHT) continue to have one more devoted customer.

Hey LegendsOfBatman I feel your pain. I really do. This Indy will be worth the price though. They both are. Do what I did and do flex-pay. Hell, I’d NEVER be able to get this figure w/o flex-pay, not in a million years!! I’d have to sell soap chips to alot of crack addicts before I could just buy it outright, but with flex-pay, the impossible is possible
Throw in a 1:4 scale ‘Arc Of The Covenant’ or maybe the ‘Staff of Ra’ or at least the medallion, and I’M BUYIN’!!
I was going to do a small Indy collection, but, you guys killed it with the $90 price tag on the 12″ figures.
You guys are killing me. I love your stuff, but, the figures arent worth $100. The arms are too loose and the bodies are getting a bit generic. Plus, there’s a recession heading our way. Now is not the time to be upping the ante.
I would have loved to have added this to my collection, but, Im afraid I’ll have to pass. And, I’m afraid to see the new pricing on these.
Been trying to work out what Exclusive could be, I reackon a seperate interchangable left hand with indy’s trusty revolver instead of the whip.

I just saw the whole thing online…WOW! I can’t believe how perfect this Indy is. Just the pose of the figure as he holds the Idol and whip are perfect! Face sculpt is better than any Harrison Ford before. That is saying alot considering the amazing Han Solo sculpts Sideshow has already done.
I would send one to Harrison Ford. I would bet even he would be proud and amazed at this PF figure! I will be ready at the pre-order! What in the world will the EX be?
Just saw the Toyfare pic. And, well, I never thought I’d be able to say this about a Harrison Ford sculpt, but you absolutely nailed it. It passes my almost-impossible-to-pass, gut-instinct, first impressions test: it doesn’t look “like” Indy, it IS Indy. The two 12-inch figures I’ve seen on this site look like Indy, the Gentle Giant offering and the Cinamaquette 1:3 statue both look like Indy, but THIS… this IS history. I mean, Indy… yeah. My dusty fedora is off to you, Sideshow. Well done. This will be my first Premium Format figure.

I just saw the figure in my issue of Toyfare. It is amazing and is easily the best Indy figure out there. The sculpt is dead on and the entire outfit is perfect. I just hope it isn’t too expensive. Sideshow, when is this going up for presale?

I agree with Joe O’Brian – I will be looking for startling accuracy before I consider this figure…Think Aragorn Premium format.
I agree with the accuracy of the gunbelt and the whip. The whip in Raider’s was lighter……in reality. The jacket looks to be finely distressed. I LOVE the weave pattern on the pants.

What a wonderful newsletter surprise! I have been begging and pleading for this and, It’s almost a reality! Thank you, Sideshow! I can’t wait for the reveal of the entire figure! I just hope the head sculpt will make Dr. Jones proud. But, of course it will! What am I saying? :-]
Sideshow, if you put the Medicom head sculpt on your figures body w/accessories, you’ll have the perfect Indy. I love everything about yours minus the sculpt. The sculpt for the Medicom one is the only thing I like about theirs.
Love most of your product Side Show. Like many, I agree. The face likeness is a BIG MUST. No show, No go!

Wow! Hope that the head sculpt works out AS WELL as the hat! Gotta get the specs right boys and girls! Its an iconic piece of clothing!
I’m more excited for this Sideshow item than any other Indy item to date. I know this is only a preview pic, but I noticed a few things that could use improvement just by the pic posted. The jacket could stand to be just a little bit longer, the gun belt is actually a bit longer and is a dark brown/greyish color and the tip if the belt is supposed to be more bullet shaped, not so squared off. The Raiders whip was also slighly lighter in color than the whips from the sequels. The rest is spot on. The bag…perfect. The hand…incredible. The color of the belt…now corrected. It’s wrong on the 12″. The distressing on the jacket is killer. The fabrics all look authentic. I think if you wanted this to be the be-all-end-all of Raiders collectable figures, you have it in the palm of your hands quite easily with a little fine tuning. I have faith in Sideshow. Bravo! Can’t wait to see the final pics. I’m ready, baby! Bring it on!

I’m sure he’ll turn out looking great just like all of Sideshow’s stuff. Even if the sculpt isn’t spot on like everyone demands that it be, it’ll certainly still be yet another in a long line of successful sellouts for Sideshow.

I’m in and can’t wait to get this one in hand. But I have to agree on the sculpt. The Han Solo PF was disappointing. The prototype photo on the box was great and I sure would have loved to own one of those, but the mass produced product really missed the mark. To tell you the truth, when I took it out of the box I was really disappointed. I hope this one delivers.
Hey Sideshow, dont make this hard to get by making it ungodly more expensive than the usually priced premium figures or a low number of figures. We are all waiting with bated breath to see the sculpt. That sculpt is going to make a big impact on if I’m going to buy it. I want to be looking at Harrison Ford’s EXACT head only a smaller version.
