  1. Larry Hama says:

Very cool. Do I get a creator’s discount?

  2. Sonder Kommando says:

sorry snakes eyes if it wasn’t 4 storm shadow there would b NO SNAKE EYEZ!!!!

  3. dirty deeds says:

stormshadow will dominate. but i would love to see scarlett, lady jaye, beach head, the cobra emperor serpentor just to name a few. these guys look great. and ill pay the extra money to have them done right. high five for sideshow, yet again.

  4. kellystu says:

He has a regular sword, it is on his back. The other sword has the Arashikage symbol by the hilt. If not one of those two, what type of sword were you looking for?

  5. Thumper5133 says:

Ordered the minute I saw it existed. I would have preferred the original goggles sculpt and a regular sword, but this figure has been 25 years in the making. I can’t wait to see what’s next in the line.

  6. kellystu says:

I look forward to receiving this item in Jan 09 as snake eyes has been my fave character since the origins issues of Marvel back in the 80′s. They did so much with a character that was kinda lame in the cartoons. I just noticed the two swords and was wondering if he is going to have a place for both of them. Comparing this to the newest Ray Park photos, it looks like they tried to combine past and present SE designs into one. I truly wish it could have the V1 Snake Eyes with goggles, but this is good too. I just hop they at least scarred his face under the mask like the Hsbro one did in 1993. I also look forward to finding out if he has the Arashikage Hexagram on his forearm as this will be a precursor as to whether Storm Shadow and possibly Firefly will have it as he was a member of the Arashikage clan as well. As for the price, no different than Hot Toys and only $20 more than hte HALO I got from bbi back in 2002/2003. That figure was well worth the money and is the centerpiece of my collection. When i get Snake Eyes, he is going to have that honor.

I can’t believe I missed the Exclusive…but Pearl Jam in Tampa was worth it. If it (the EX.)had been the origonal headsculpt (goggles) I would have been very sad. The price is steep but I’ve come around to the cost of doing collectibles these days. For all the extras though I can see spending a little more, and I won’t iss the dagger thingy anyway. I wish you had done the goggle design ’cause I’m old school…but cool nonetheless. Now give me Storm Shadow to complete the battle, and a Timber, goggle head, & a winter wear expansion pack for SE and I’ll be set. My wife will be happy for the price since these will be my only JOE purchases. GOOD JOB SC!

  8. SpawnSC says:

Awesome! I just pre-ordered mine and I just told everyone at GIJoeAction.com about it also… this is a must get 120 isn’t THAT bad… considering its sideshow and they do awesome details on their figures.

  9. Chris says:

$120 !?! yeah, you can keep it.

  10. snake-eyes apprentice says:

cant wait to see the final product and all its highly detailed gadgets and gizmos.

  11. Widgit says:

Totally awesome goodness. What an iconic character to start with! From the teasers, this franchise is in very able hands. I’ll throw in my note to make the older version Snakes as well, if possible. All versions of Snake-Eyes are nice. :)

  12. arnax nimrod says:

I will be getting this one for sure. Sideshow is going to make this line incredible. I hope they have the new Hot Toys/SIdeshow body type.

  13. Reaper says:

Tristan: I’m betting that he’ll come stripped down and it’ll be up to the end user to put what where, as it looked like it was an attachable accessory vs. a hard sewed one. As for the choice of which version, for coolness, yeah, this Snake Eyes looks cooler, but for nostalgia’s sake, I would’ve preferred the original. It’d bring back so many memories to see them produce the figs in the same order that Hasbro originally did waaaaaaaay back in the day (1982?)… of course, Cobra Commander was a mail-in special back then so if SS did that, it’d leave him as some king of exclusive and the normal public with just the Cobra G.I. and Cobra Officers.

  14. MiguelGuerra says:

Stop the teasers when can we pre order it?

  15. Dino says:

    Sir Tristam,

Astute observation. You will also notice the folding stock of the Uzi is on the outside of Snake Eyes’ body when it should be inside. So glad it is the Version 2 Snake Eyes. Yes, while the visor makes no sense (he can see through those tiny slits?), it just looks cooler than the googles. But it would go a long way towards pleasing everyone if Sideshow made the exclusive an interchangeable Version 1 head as it has been suggested several times already…

  16. Jason says:

so… um… any clue for us as to when the pre-order is?

  17. Reinaldo (SOLIDSNAKE) says:

wow !! that looks UNREAL !!
    cant wait to get it.

  18. Eternal_D says:

wow, this line looks to be promising…can’t wait to see how it turns out!

  19. mistamoose says:

    awesome

  20. John Nelson says:

Fantastic. Lets hope for more! Lady Jaye and Flint, Hawk, Grandslam Gung Ho! YO JOE!!

  21. Dino says:

    Absolutely bada$$…when’s the pre-order?

  22. spazzy says:

    Awesome, I want it now!

  23. Sir Tristram says:

Looks promising. Lots of love for GI Joe. SE is difficult to screw up. Here’s hoping the others look as good. I hope you can change his scabbard to the right side. He always weilded his sword in his right hand….whenever he needed to use both at once, he fired his Uzi with his left. I am picky. ….Yo Joe!!!
