    Just got my Stormtrooper last week and it’s awesome. It kicks Marmit and Medicom’s Stormtroopers’ butts though all three have their small give and takes making them different from each other. Moving the armor around to look just right is part of the fun unless you really are playing with him? He is not as short and stubby as the pics on the site make him out to be. This figure is a home run and i like the smaller cod piece. Just awesome and I am even more psyched and greatly anticipate the Clones showing up! I am a hard core critic and Sideshow Stormtrooper simply Rule!!!!

    Am I the only one, but sometimes 30+ points don’t matters to me, I want an accurate character study sometimes over an action figure, anyone else?

    Administrator, I have read the blurb and don’t get me wrong, I have several SS figures and other products and I’m happy with them. I don’t doubt these armored figures have 30+ points of articulation but what I’m saying is that it seems limited. Maybe some photos that show the figure in an action pose other than standing with a slightly bent knee or elbow would be better. Medicom and Hot Toys do this with the pics of their figures and so have you on other figures but these armored figures aren’t showing much in the line of “action poses” at all.

    This figure has as many points of articulation as our other Star Wars figures.

    After looking at the pics that SS have posted for both this and the Stormtrooper figure I have my doubts. Sure they look the part but they don’t seem to be very pose able. The Medicom figures are very pose able but these SS armored figures look like they can only stand up straight and slightly bend at the elbows and knees. I’m seriously considering canceling my Stormtrooper order and will have to pass on this one for that reason as well.

    Thanks Sideshow. This is another one I can pass on! If I want to army build I’ll pick up the Hasbro troopers on ebay (not as good but cheaper). I’d rather wait for Sly Moore, Tion Medon (Utapau chairman), Nien Nunb, Bultar Swan, Mon Mothma (Ep3 & Ep6 versions).

    Looks great.The chin part of the helmet does look pointed and the vents on the each side are in the wrong spot,they should run evenly along each cheek of the helmet.You can notice it in the background photo and on the MR helmets.Cheers Sideshow.

    Another clone trooper? Sure, he looks great. I always love the armor with the “battle-damaged” look. But, we need Chewie! You gave us Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan “Old Ben” Kenobi, and Han Solo from Episode IV: A New Hope this year. Now we need Han’s buddy…Chewie! How about one with “real fur” that doesn’t look like a cheap Muppett like the poor Hasbro one from the late 1990s. Please Sideshow, we want Han’s Wookie pal!

    This guy didn’t hit the gym? His shoulders are a bit weak…Cool concept and good first pick to go with old Obi-Wan (III or Armour).     Sideshow, mostly all praise here, but please adjust helmet shape, the lower ‘mouth’ portion of the helmet is too pushed in and flat-faced, there is more shape and definition to the clones in the movie image. If you fix this, it will be perfection!

    Looks absolutely fantastic Sideshow. But that guy was right the orange paint on the upper breastplate — the diagonal lines should parallel the shoulder plates as seen in the background image, and they don’t. Otherwise, amazing. I wish I could buy it but I don’t have the money. :( I bought your Vader and Stormtrooper though! Can’t wait to get those in the mail. Keep up the excellent work Sideshow.

    My understanding is that the exclusive is usually an item that won’t be offered again, so a DC-15 battle rifle doesn’t quite fit that bill as the other troopers should have it as well.
    Perhaps there will be no exclusive item, like the rebel blockade trooper and Praji.

    I’m usually defending your new stuff, but the face of the helmet needs a resculpt (Medicom got it right) and the chest paint doesn’t quite line up like the picutre you included behind the figure. You should really stop putting actual images behind your figures to show just how off you are. Love you guys, but what’s up with that?
