Can you take out the handkerchief also? He should be able to use all his accessories.
James, you could be right, but one of these days a kid comes up to their parents at a store shouting: Can I get this? And then Mom or Dad say: No. There’s a symbol with a bad meaning. Then the kid says: PLEAAAAASE! I really want it! And then his parent says: When you are older I will get it for you. Then the kid goes like: I don’t know what you are seeing that is bad!

the best they could make would be a Temple of doom Indy ,willy and short round deluxe set. I have seen prototypes of the bridge scene w/ Indy and Mola ram fighting

They need to make a Russian Soldier from the kingdom of the crystal skull. the soldier that they should make is the one who is the 2nd guy eaten by the ants other than Dovchenko. with Hat, handgun, Ak-47, Uniform with belt and holster, and 6 ants!
Now, this is a great figure! Well done, Sideshow.
We definitely need a Pat Roach, German Mechanic, figure. Roach was the only actor besides Ford to appear in all three Indy films (no, I don’t consider KotCS as part of the Indy franchise – it was crap). Mechanic with hat, shirt, wrench, alternate head sculpt with bloodied face, and the exclusive could come with an environment consisting of a partial wing from the plane – including landing gear and movable propeller. Now, that would be awesome.
Sideshow you really need to make Dietrich with a collasped head and as he wouldnt have many accessories, Belloq’s ceremonial robes & a screaming head could be added as an exclusive. All 3 characters standing next to the opened ark.Imagine how cool it would look to have that scene display in your collection (drooling)
Looks good but didn’t he have a Walther and not a Luger? Also thinking that the Ark looks a little dull…

I am totally ready for a Marion figure. There has to be either a 2 figure set like Palpatine or just one figure with multiple costumes and head sculpts. I think we all would love to have a Raven Bar Marion, Streets of Cairo Marion, and a Well of the Souls/Desert Marion just for the various costumes. How freakin cool would that be to have a set of figures (Indy, Belloq, Toht, and MARION) to set up in different scenes!!!!
That wasn’t him reading Life magazine on the airplane, but rather a cameo by Dennis Muren, special effects guy.

Melting head a must, alternate un-scarred hands, coat hanger, red-hot poker, hanky (he always had the sniffles) and as the exclusive the Life magazine from the airplane.

Hi Jamesr – In most cases when items preview, they pre-order the next week with the launch of the Sideshow newsletter. While I can’t say that is 100% what is going to happen this time, its a pretty good probability. In fact – with the Holiday in the states, you may want to pay attention Wednesday night!

Keep the swastikas, it’s called authenticity and history. I know they’ll keep them in the interest of being accurate. Why some people are such wimps it’s amusing yet mind boggling, we defeated them and they are all dead now plus you can’t just erase history or it will be repeated again.

Bring on Toht! I love Sideshow’s Indiana Jones line! I just got in the exclusive Indy and he’s incredible. Kudos go out to master sculptor Trevor Grove for his two incredible head sculpts, and Sideshow for finally giving me a worthy 1:6 scale Indy. I pre-orded the exclusive Renee’ Belloq, and I’ll definitely pre-order Toht! Sideshow PLEASE make an exclusive Toht with the melting head, and the red hot poker from Marion’s bar’s fireplace! I’d loe to see those two exclusives with Toht. The torch and Hovito indian dart were cool exclusives with Indy. Thanks for those. Now Sideshow, please produce a Marion Ravenwood after Toht. Put her in her outfit from her bar, and add an additional outfit from the streets of Cairo sequence. Thanks again Sideshow!

I am glad Sideshow is sticking with Indy unlike Hasbro. Indy fans are out there and they want their Indy merchandise! Long live Sideshow’s Indy line!
I’d like to see an “Arab” disguised Indy with a Map Room environment and the Staff of Ra. And when is Sideshow going to make an Ark to go with our Indy? They could carry this line very far…

Love the Indy 12″ line… BUT, when will there be a NEW LORD OF THE RINGS 12″ figure? We need Arwen or a Black Rider!!!
I painfully passed on Belloq because it didn’t really look like him, but this is a definite purchase now that I am sucked into the 12″ Indy line.
I agree that it’s ridiculous for other companies to do a line of Indy figures and leave out Toht.
And yes, you are all correct, he MUST come with the coat hanger and the melting head. Classic and awesome!!

ACCESSORY PACKS?
I think Sideshow would make a further bundle by selling alternate costume/accessory packs for movie licenses like Star Wars, LOTR, Indy. It worked for Barbie!
beautiful. would love the hanger and melting head. also, i really hope they KEEP the swastika. It is upsetting that because people are nitpicky, we lose the accuracy of something. Same with my planes and figures. Taking the symbol off doesn’t somehow make it all goody goody for what they stood for. Swastika or not, he was a Nazi. And i’d like that to be shown. I realize some people are sensitive to it, but it is a part of history. Erasing it from collectibles doesn’t make it go away, and it only ticks me off! And as an archaeologist, i can also say it probably would tick Indy off too! ;p

And yet again Sideshow comes at us with another masterpiece to add to the displays. What an amazing looking figure this is, so real I had to look twice to make sure it wasn’t just a picture of the man himself. Way to bring the greatness gang, rock on!!
Nice to see one company release a Toht figure.
I see the necktie is being made the usual way, with the thread wrapped around the tie to throttle it into an approximate shape… I don’t mean to be negative, this figure looks great so far, but so many other companies have raised the bar on this sort of thing, the knot should be a real knot. Again, figure looks great otherwise!

Bloody hell, Im on board with the Indy 12″ figures. I was only going to buy the Premium Format Indy. Going to order Indy & Belloq now. So many companies are dropping their Indy lines because they are believed Indy would sell to the masses like Star Wars. They should have focused on the collectors market. Sideshow knows their market and I have high hopes that we will see a good range of 12″ Indy characters if the edition sizes are kept low. Imagine how good Mola Ram would look made by Sideshow?? I would love a Marcus & Sallah twin pack from the Last Crusade. Bring on Marion,Dietrich,Willie/Shorty (twin pack),Vogel,Henry, Elsa,Donovan,Spalko & Dovchenko. Please Sideshow be the compay that makes all the main characters. I’m so fed up with incomplete sets.

MARION SHOULD COME WITH THE MEDALION, TOHT’s EXCLUSIVE ITEM SHOULD BE THAT HANGER THAT BELLOQ THOUGHT WAS A WEAPON THAT WAS GOING TO BE USED ON HIM AND MARION IN THE TENT.

P.S. He DOES come with 2 coat hangers, right? One the loose, scary version, the other the assembled, practical one? Kinda like 12″ Indy’s 2 whips. Also, there is no way you can release this figure WITHOUT an alternate “melting” head. Right?
