No such luck with helmets fitting over the heads. You can remove the heads and put the helmets on, but they are quite loose.
Finaly got em’ yesterday! Awesome figures! So glad I was able to get these even though I couldn’t make it to the Con this year. Only gripe I have is that luke is the same size as Han, boooo. Should have been alot shorter. Face sculpts are dead on and the armor is actually shiney. Now where’s Chewbacca and the droids? Come on Sideshow! make it happen.
I am so bummed that I had to cancel these…
Can’t wait…only one more week until the second flex pay payment posts,then these awesome figures are mine! Hurry up and ship them. My patience grows thin!
yep i know what tony mills is saying i to didn`t get it until they emailed me today and told me that one came up from cancellation and credit card decline im takeing what is rightfully mine to begin with
I have managed to get a non attendee order in for this but would love the Mount Doom dio more. Just have more of a thing for LOTR over SW, though I’m liking this set, I would consider a trade if I’m unlucky with Sam and Frodo. Hard choices SS!
The fact that the attendee edition is still available 4 days later and the non-attendee sold out in a matter of seconds shows how wrong you got this priority pre-order, it should have been at least a 50/50 split, as a collector from the uk i did not stand a chance, it took 2-3 minutes for my order to process and by the time it finished the item was sold out, Very disapointed.
All we need to compliment this is a detention area diaroma. We will have 3 of the 4 Characters already. It would have to be pretty big but only long enough to be able to have a blasted hole for the trash compactor. Or you could do a trash compactor with dionoga-that would be a great way to compliment these figures.
Nice to see the neck pieces and interior details in the helmets on these. Not to get my hopes up too high, but I think you guys have finally nailed Luke’s likeness in ANH, and the pantented Solo smirk! Trev is one of the best, don’t let him go guys!
It should come with the Dia Noga too!
I hope they get their helmets right. They were the only two with the bubble lenses, and Luke just happened to have the only grappling hook!
I have an old set of these by Hasbro from 1997. This set will definitely put those to shame. I hope Han will include the MG-34 style heavy repeating blaster that Harrison Ford has in A New Hope. That would be very nice and impressive. Then again Sideshow Toys are generally very impressive.
Hi all – just FYI, the 2000 piece edition size is TOTAL, including both Non-Attendee and Attendee allotments!
Great figs. But 4,000 edition size world wide? For $200?say it ain’t so. This is a recession. I regretfully will have to pass.
WOW….the inside of the helmet is just perfect. The sculpts have character, the trooper armor is pristine.. and you even got the Luke belt right. A home run in every way! I can’t wait to order them.

These look awesome – best ANH Luke head sculpt yet…wish I could swap it out for the one actually on Tatooine Luke. Any idea on price? I figure, what…$200? Can’t afford that kind of coin even though I’m going to SDCC. Oh well *sigh*
Very nice. Love the detailing on the Stormtrooper helmet. I just wish the upcoming Vader had a removable helmet with the same detailing.
I totally agree with you, womprat! I’ve been anticipating my favorite Wookie ever since Sideshow began the Star Wars line! Hope he’s not too far off. These two sculpts look amazing! Hope I’m lucky enough to claim one of the Non-attendee sets! Get ready for a record sell out, folks!

Who cares if the helmets fit over their heads? They are just stormtroopers with the helmet on. Chewies needs to be next. I know they are feverishly working on him and his “real” hair poses a design and production problem. He will be great I am sure and well worth the wait.

Would like to see these two as premium formats, with an exclusive switch out head with stormtrooper helmet so that way we could get 2 in 1. A stormtrooper PF and Han and Luke as Stormtrooper

a New era of sideshow figures! i watched the SDCC sideshow preview and wow! the new skin technology appears to be hot toys like for the dead ” butcher” has no wrist joints and is skin over! Just awsome i cant wait to get this one iam gonna try to make it too the comic con this year appears friday and saturday is already sold out. can i still go to those days, just pay at the front box? or sold out mean sold out?

Anybody know if Luke is samller than Han? The picture seems to suggest so. Owing to the fact that Princess Leia non-chalantly describing the stature of her liberator.

For Star Wars, I would like to see some Hoth figures, more versions of Vader, more jedi and sith, bounty hunters, and the list goes on and on and on 
I really want these… is Luke gonna be ‘a little short’ for a Stormtrooper? Looks like he could be. I hope so as Hasbro and others in the past have always taken the cheaper route of using the same mold and made a mockery of one of Star Wars best quotes.. Rock on.

Wow, that is so cool, great job on the interior of the helmets SS. Reminds me of the 1/4 scale helmets that were released quite a few years ago. I bought the Boba Fett and Stormtrooper helmets because the detailing on the inside was just so amazing. I still have them on display and they are one of the things that have not been put away to make room for new stuff to be displayed, LOL.
Come on, Guys! Now you really have to create a Chewie, C-3PO & R2D2 to complete “A New Hope”! I also vote for a Death Star trash compactor environment complete with one-eyed dianoga! I know….it’s sad that I know the name of the creature in the trash compactor but, what can I say – I loves me some Star Wars!
