I had to get on the Wait List for the exclusive, but I’ll take my chances there.
Normally just buy the Star Wars 1/6th figures but I got Indy and was blown away and this is the perfect one to follow it up. Please sonsider a Sala in his first appearence with his Fez and a Marion in White Dress. Thank you so much guys This ROCKS!!!
I totally agree with those of you who would like to see Katanga and Marcus Brody. Which Indiana Jones female character would you guys like to see first? I suspect it would be easiest to capture the likeness of Irina Spalko.

I hope they keep this line going for a while. There’s many other characters people want. Seems like Sallah is a favorite but I’d love a Mola Ram.
Well…. call me impressed. Guess it’s time to sell my Medicom Henry Sr. on Ebay. I kind of regret getting it now. Sideshow’s version definitely puts it to shame, and at a cheaper price too! Better likeness, better costume detail, more accessories. Great job! Now please make TOD Indy, Mola Ram, Marion, and Short Round and my 12″ Indy needs will be complete.

Why is everyone complaining about the German Indy?! I think it’s a great figure! The sculpt is better than the first Indy and I hope that it will be perfected by the time a TOD Indy will be released. Keep the RAIDERS 12″ figures coming!!! Sideshow, you should do the characters that Kenner did back in ‘82… a good variety of essential characters!
I also would like to see Captain Katanga, but something tells me they’ll never give him to us (where’s Dietrich, BTW?), and I want Brody equally as much! I am surprised that they gave us a German Indy when Hasbro already issued one, especially when they could have done two other Indys to REALLY get us excited… Indy with ripped shirt from TOD and TOD Indy in his white tuxedo.
How about a Mr. Katanga! With smarmy, tobacco-spitting action!
I just hope you plan to do a Temple of Doom Indy soon. We needed that version a lot more than Indy in German Soldier disguise. Mola Ram would be amazing too. Just imagine the level of detail you could put into his costume. Hasbro’s 4″ scale version makes me eager to see what Sideshow could do for him in the 12″ scale.
From the closeup of the weathered briefcase alone, I can already tell this is a nicer version than the somewhat generic and bland Medicom version. I hope he comes with the Grail Diary. That was sorely missing from Medicom’s Henry Sr.

Grandfather also currently customizing Ken doll into Marcus Brody. It not going so well.
Strange, how does it work exactly coming out with this and still selling your competition’s fantastic version? Will folks still buy this after buying the Medicom one through you?

I agree with others who are dying for Marion (Bar or Cairo outfit options, like Hot Toys’ latest Joker has with police disguise and regular), Raiders Sallah, Belloq in Ceremonial Outfit(!!!), Deitrich, etc.

If you do another Belloq, please include an alternate head that we can put on our first Belloq, so it would actually look like the actor instead. (Again, I refer to the Hot Toys precedent of a better main Joker head included with their Bank Robber Version.)

I hope this line doesn’t suffer the same fate as Lord of the Rings before the good main characters are covered. That would be a double shame.

Please get further Indy line likenesses right on, that really makes or breaks an otherwise rockin figure.

I am very happy to see the 12″ Indy line continue, Sideshow, but I have to wonder… you are still selling Medicom’s Henry Jones Sr. on your site, and yet you are offering this before other un-made characters? What about Dietrich? Sallah? German Mechanic!? Heck, where’s Mola Ram or Shorty? Releasing a Henry Sr. would have made more sense after Medicom’s version have sold out, no? Here’s hoping we’ll get some as-of-yet unreleased characters soon…

Every time I swear to my fiancee I’m done buying collectibles you guys have to go and make me an offer I can’t refuse! It’s a moral duty that I have the father next to Junior on my desk. Gotta do what I gotta do!
A must have addition to any Indy collection. I’m a little surprised Sideshow that you brought out this figure now. Usually you wait to release the “main” characters after a few smaller characters. I hope that this is not a sign of you drawing the Indy line to a close. You are our only hope, Sideshow. Please keep them coming…especially the RAIDERS 12″ FIGURES!! I would love to have any character from RAIDERS: Any outfit of Marion, or Sallah, Cairo Swordsman, German Mechanic, Belloq in Ceremonial Garb, Monkey Man, Dietrich, Satipo, Barranca, Marcus Brody, Indy in his teaching suit, Frank Marshall as the German Pilot, anything Raiders!!!!
This should be done in 1/4 scale. Also, I would buy an Indy in his professor’s suit -with glasses- 1/4 scale. PLEASE!!!!
I will definitely order this one. I am looking forward to seeing the head sculpt. That is a face you have to get right. Iconic.
